Man that's awesome, you know maybe people may disagre with me when it comes to this part of the episode but after re-watching it I came to an odd conclusion. Shining Armor picked up Cadence because she was weak from using all her magic and she couldn't run away, if they needed to run inside and eventually run away, and it wasn't until cadence spread her wings after seeing or feeling the Crystal Hearth that Shining Armor decided to throw her towards it. In my head it kinda makes sense it does seem like Cadence has some sort of connection to the Crystal Heart, similar to Twilight's to the tree of Harmony as well as the other main six to the elements. Of course that could just be me trying to make more sense out of a weird scene.
