Since I'm starting this project [link] I figured I should redraw Hush. Check it out if you don't know about it already! I'd love to have more people participate in the fun. x3
I wasn't happy with the pictures I had of him before, and wanted to do something better.
For those who don't know, Hush is a character I made a while ago that represents the band The Hush Sound [which I am unconditionally in love with].
I'm really quite happy with how this came out. It took long enough. xD
Markers [prismas, tombos, sharpies], pens, and watercolors. My favorite media!

I love this picture, and I can see a few things in there that has to do with The Hush Sound.
They really are an amazing band, with a unique sound. Have you ever went to one of there concerts?

I went in the beginning of this year, and I really hated the concert part.
I almost fainted and I cried a little, but aftwerwards totally made up for it. I'm okay with concerts now, that was just my first indoor concert and it was really tightly packed.
The venue we were at had a back way out into an alley, and thats where you could meet the band. I meet all of them, and got Like Vines signed. They were all extremely nice and Bob was wasted.
We also stalked a band through the alley before the concert, but not The Hush Sound, I think This Providence, and into a guitar store. We all tried not to freak out and act like we had no clue who the guys were. xD
It was great.

I LOVE Everything about your drawingz...... GOSH I wish I had inspiration like you do for all the back ground and coloring..... I need to start coloring mah picks...... What markers or color thingys do you use? *gets pen and paper*

Mainly, I use prisma markers (they're like $3 each! But SO worth it) and sharpies (a lotttt cheaper, but not as good) :]

I love it! I've been figuring out all of the songs that Hush's design comes from - City Traffic Puzzle, Wine Red, , Hourglass, Sweet Tangerine... - LOL, and more...neh? What a lovely idea. And I agree with queen-kitty - your style is perfect ...and it looks so fluffy. XD

I fit as many songs as I could into his design... Not all of them, of course, but I did my best.
We Intertwined= the vines on his tail
A Dark Congregation= the rose in his hair
Sweet tangerine= the earring
Lions Roar/Crawling towards the Sun= his armwarmer things that are supposed to look "circusy"
Wine Red= the arrow, and the apple earring
Out Through the Curtain= his tears
City Traffic Puzzle= the compass rose
The Artist= the colorful spots like paint
Momentum/ Tides Change= the anchor
Hourglass= the hourglass!

Oh, I see...that's what the armwarmers are for. XD, I loved them, but I had no idea what they were for. Yep, I got most of them...all except for the rose and the armwarmers.
