Tainted by truth twisted by time...

Some choose to forget
Yet it still
Weaves webs in their minds....

And it seems like she's been here forever
Her branches as black as the seas
She's been through it all
By the luck of the draw
She became the old hanging tree...

She asked for nothing
Except maybe
A little rain...
They used her strenght
To help them steal lives away...

And she witnessed the sadness and sorrow
To this day she still doesn't know why
And her heart broke
When they came with the rope
To declare her the old hanging tree...

This is the first of three images I made this summer. Like every summer, it seems that some moment I found inspiration and want to work just on landscape instead of having model. Maybe it is because my summer cottage is in the middle of nowhere in the forest and all the green nature around me just makes me wish to make something purely of nature.

So.. this is for my love for the forest.. I could never go on without it.. I just love forest and green in ways I cannot express.. I love every summer just because I can be out of the stony city.. away from all the noise and hurry people.. all the yelling and things in the city.. So I treasure every moment I will spend countryside.. the sea.. the sound of the waves flushing to beach... the forest.. wind playing in high and old trees.. the green tones around me.. birds and squirrels.. and all the silence.. and the sound of the wind.. the peace and calmness.. Yes, peace and calmness.. those were the things I wanted to portray..

But as always.. when I work with images in summer on laptop.. the colors are never the same when I get home and open the file on my big computer.. so I messed around with them, trying to get them as close to the ones I had on laptop.. but it did not worked.. anyway.. I hope they are ok..

(and wait for few more works I did this summer..)
