It took a while to paint. I looked at some armour but didn't use any references in the end. The accent edges filter was good for making the armour look real. Painted in Photoshop.Related content

The design of the sword and (his) left shoulder are astounding in their own rights, but what makes this digital art work in my opinion is the face. The cold expression, the shadow, the realism!
