i guess you'd call her an ancient romanshe was moving so slowly (and carefully watching her every step) that she was very easy to photograph
almost gave up though - it took her the longest time to get to where i wanted to shoot her

Great shot, and well worth waiting for the right composition.
I have the feeling that she's pushing through despite the weight of urban despondency and desensitization, made more intense by the lack of colour. The stark walls, the graffiti, and the dark metal grate are closing in on her. It's a wonderful story photo; thanks for that.
