Orion, Nergal, Inferno

This is based on the line-up from the point of Behemoth's latest album, Evangelion. I'll admit, it's the only album I even own that's by Behemoth but I was completely sold with that alone. I really like the approach Nergal has to his music, and seeing what he has to say about some of the lyrics to his songs make it feel as though the band is something of a maverick compared to a lot of other black/blackened death metal bands. After all, it was because of Nergal I learnt the more universal definition to the word "demon".

Anyway, regarding the actual drawing itself, it was a lot more fun than DevilDriver, which for the most part felt too much like I was drawing, more or less, the same person multiple times. I found that can be the tricky thing about doing these bands as chibis. With more theatrical figures, like the members of Behemoth, they almost always wear an outfit that makes them not just stand out from the average person but even from each other. I have often wondered if it would be good to at least re-draw Orion's eyes though.
