Hand your crappy coloring skills to me then, cause I'd be more than happy to be able to color like that D: (Maybe you could point me toward whatever tutorial you learned it from, or just give me advice or something if you learned on your own )

Meh, you jester. To do soft shading? It just takes a strong enough program like either Photoshop or Painter. (gimp might work...) Whichever program you use, I'm sure you'd have to select a regular circular soft brush set to a low opacity/flow.

Pfft, I don't jest when it comes to art. I have Photoshop (not for much longer xD But hopefully I'll be getting my own tablet this summer and a friend offered to send me Photoshop), but I don't have a clue as to what any of the rest of your comment is xD

lol Sorry, I couldn't find any other way to say it. XD Maybe the tutorial will help though. It *cough* should at least include a little bit of recommendations on 'Opacity' and 'Flow'.

xD I still don't quite understand the tutorial you gave me after reading through it, but oh well, I'll learn eventually xD Or just give up life as a Photoshop-using artist, either one xD
