I present the Witch Transformed from Act I: [link]I love the silvery white costume Bernadette Peters wears in that sequence, and thought that it (and she; I wanted to take her hair down) could be exaggerated in a more fantasy-like manner.

This is the Witch from Into the Woods, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's wonderful 1987 musical that blends several fairy tales into a fable about parent-child relationships, responsibility to the community, and honesty.

I hand-drew the lineart and scanned it in, then coloured the figure in Photoshop. The background is a free photograph I found on the net, blurred up a bit.

Whgen I saw the commercial for this, I didn;t understand this dress, then I saw the scene and it made sense lol. I want this movie for christmas now. Rapunzel's outfit was gorgeous too

Oh my goodness! before I even clicked I thought this looked like Bernadette Peters! I had to watch "In to the woods" for Drama and always had to clap for Bernadette
