This dragon was directly inspired by this previous lantern dragon , as I've always liked how that one turned out and wanted to revisit the idea, especially the wing and horn combination. I kept the rest of my color selections simpler this time around with red-orange leafy accents to tie in with the miniature paper crane that the dragon is holding. The shimmer on the wings and horns are really what set this piece apart from my standard dragons. So satisfying.
Crafted from Premo polymer clay, bugle beads, rhinestones, handmade fairy wings, wire, and a tiny paper crane. Sold at Otakon 2022.
