I just don't agree with taking someone elses photograph, and altering it a bit and posting it as your art, even if you did say where the origional image came from, it isn't a stock photo, its copy-right infringement.

you still shouldn't post it on your page of art, it isn't yours. that is why you do uni projects with your own photos...

Apparently you aren't too educated on art and photography. I asume you definitely aren't familiar with art recreations. Haven't you seen the Marilyn pics Vanity Fair recreated with Lindsay Lohan? Or the ones that recreate Hitchcock's movie posters? No? Photography recreating photography? Or paint? Or cinema? No?

Well, do some research.

By the way, my uni project WAS ABOUT RECREATING MY FAVORIRE PHOTOGRAPHER.

actually I am WELl educated on art and photography, I am specializing in both. they are well done, but I DO NOT like/agree with how it is an exact replica of his work.

life's quite up and downy at the moment... i think i may have screwed something up/be in the process of screwing something up in relation to my degree and i'm at the stage where i'm really not sure if i can fix it or if it'll all end in disaster... so yes i'm a bit scared. i'm working on it though?

Mine is just fine. I'm glad I made a Model Mayhem account, I found a couple of great models there, with whom I'm currently working with, so it's been great. I'm shooting a lot lately, so that's good, right?

hah definitely good. shooting a lot is ALWAYS good.

ive never even heard of model mayhem, wish i had earlier as i have a project right now which needs a model but i couldn't be bothered looking so i posed for it myself. and it looks super dodgy. luckily i'm obscuring most of myself using photoshop, because it's for a poster. and not a photography thing.

hahah. well to end this message on a happy note, i still love the colours on this thing.
