My Second attempt...i will pretty much just be doing IR for the next week or so.... Elsenburg, South AfricaI mixed the blue and red channels and changed the hue of the red for the road...

well preferably you should get a camera with no IR filter over the sensor, like the 350D or Nikon D70.

How have you made an IR photo with the 400D? I have a 450D and it doe not support IR shooting...

While browsing through your gallery I was thinking: "Such great photos, but he uses Canon 5D II, which is very good..." And here I see 400D. So it is not the camera which makes the picture, its the photographer...

i love the separation of the trees from the road..
the clean sky and trees compared to the brown tone of the roadmakes for a good mix of character...also mixes earthiness with synthetic trees^_^

good job here. I hope that you are enjoying to like IR. The only pain in the ass thing is doing like a 30 sec exposure and the trees move often. One cool thing that you can do with an IR filter is you can use it as like a ND400x because of how many stops...and then just convert it into black and white... have fun with it.
