Description This is the 32 Ford a friend of a friend built. This guy was an old highschool rival of mine because he was far better off financially which meant he had a faster car. But that's all in the past, we've grown up, and even though I haven't seen him for more than a couple minutes the animosity is gone.
This car is a sand rail. It's powered by a majorly overdrivin supercharger sitting on top of a 427. It produces well over 1000 horsepower before the squeeze. It's an actual GM 427 block but has been driven hard on the sand dunes for a very long time without problem... unless it was driver error.
The car is nicknamed Christine. All in one weekend it had problems with the drive train that nearly killed Jeremy, he got airborn and did his impersonation of a lawn dart totally bending the knuckles on the front wheels, and he had a guy on a motorcycle broadside him and died right there.

I'd drive that!

BTW, this is actually a 1930-31 Ford, 32's are quite different, and they made the door suicide... I kinda like that!

Yeah, that thing is a beast. It made an extreme motorsports video once, too. Just to see a sand ramp and a little motorcycle *zoooom* and another motorcycle *zooooom* then the Ford *BWAAAAAAAAAAAA* and then lawn darts into the sand.

I saw this on the sand drags on Speedvision a few weeks ago, it was pretty cool!

Really? He's been around in it. He blew a head gasket last year so bad he had to machine the block! He REALLY needs a good temp gauge.

Yup! A death trap it is, killed a dude on a motorcycle who T boned it, and Jeremy nosedived into a hill and busted his nose on the steering wheel all in the same weekend.

FUCK! I feel bad for the motorcycle guy. But why is it on display at the mall? Aren't they supposed to raffle out new cars or something?

Nah, sometimes they have small car shows. Sometimes you'll see it in front of grocery stores, too, during food drives and stuff to help attract attention to the donation sights.

Sand Dune racing, interesting.must be a hell of a car,i'm guessing it's built on a Truck chassis?

Man this is an old pic!

Christine still lives, the chassis is custom built one off unit. The cage and suspension hard points are integral.

Actually I'm not sure. Whatever it is it's tough. But that may be because of the full roll cage inside keeping it rigid. No way the original 32 frame can handle those ponies.

true,i mean not many cars can withstand 1000 horses and the sheer torque could twist that chassis like it was nothing
