Last time I was in the cat-shelter taking cat picture after a little break and met Nischa there. She is a gorgeous cat who luckily found a new owner and in the next few days sheΒ΄ll move to her new family, hopefully forever
The picture is something very special for me, cause it was such a lovely moment: Normally when I take pictures I introduce myself to the cat. I let her sniff on my hand and my camera to show, that there is nothing the cat has to fear. But here I made my picture directly and you can see in her eyes how hard the situation for the cat is: On the one hand mistrust and on the other hand the yearning for love. She did not know what she should make, coming out of her box or hide in deeper.
After the picture I was petting her and cuddling with her and she really loved it and lost all her fear. So if you ever want to adopt a cat from a shelter make sure not to overwhelm the animals there. Take some time, introduce yourself and then youΒ΄ll find the most beautiful creature in the world
(BTW: The image looked perfect on my controll-monitor but VERY dark on my internet-monitor. So now I do not know in which one I should trust

This is a lovely picture. You're animal shots are absolutely wonderful and the color just pops! I really hope to get a camera that can take as clear shots as yours one day.
That's also really kind of you go and visit with the animals at the shelters. I used to do that, now I have a harder time cause I have the space and the money and I just wanna adopt them all!

She looks like an old cat of mine who had to be put down....I miss him....Anyway extremely cute....I like cats but I'm allergic to any animal that sheds fur.....Not nice

Awww pretty girl... I used to work at a cat shelter and helped to socialize the shy cats, a few of my shy kitties got adopted soon after I moved out of town, so I was sad I didn't get one last goodbye, but completely thrilled that they'd found homes

Oh yes. Cat shelters.
All of our cats are adopted. I don't think we've ever bought a pet from a pet store.
So yeah, two of our are very timid.. and yes one of them shows really huge eyes like that. :3 Scaredy-cat.
