I would be interested too in buying a pair of the latex hoof socks and gloves!
The most awesome things I ever seen in my life!

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I have the intention to sell a few of the gloves, maybe 6 pairs, just to get my investments back. It is more difficult then I have expect it. I tooks around 5 working hours to produce one bloody gloove.

At the moment I try to do the casts with different viscosities of the liquid latex to find a compromise between time for drying and equal thickness of the latex.

But it still tooks 5 days from the first cast ( up to 8 times! ) till opening the mold again. And a skin coloured glove was requested, so at the moment I focus my work to this coloration.

Thanks for the reply!
I know the problem with the slow drying liquid latex, too bad it's the way it is.

How about speeding the drying process up by putting the mold into a oven where you turn the temperature slowly up to 60° Celsius,
that should speed the drying up a lot without hurting the latex or the mold!
Or try a hairdryer with the nozzle aiming at the insinde+ outside of the mold!

industrial rubber thing are vulcanized the same way

Hi swandog! Yes, I can make them in white or flesh-tone latex. And latex can be painted with latex color easily.

But first I need to find out how to speed up the production process. And I know the link you have posted. Funny stuff there... mmh, dog paws!?

Maybe my neighbour would borrow me his Rottweiler to make an impression of his paw? [link]

Yay, great! I guess flesh-tone would be best for me, because my unicorn char's hooves are sort-of a peachy-ivory color, and then I could paint the rest of it white.

I have a saluki (sighthound) char too, so would love some paw-gloves! But their paws are more "pinched-looking" than a normal dog's, like this: [link]

Will you still be making the latex hoof "socks" as well? And how much will the final product cost? (Can't recall if you had mentioned the price. *is scatterbrained*)

VERY awesome!! I'm curious, will you be able to make these in a white or flesh-tone latex? If not, can they be painted, like these? [link]
