I think Kamek is the first witch character I have ever known of in any video game, and he's a male one and that. His first appearence was in 1995 3 years before Gruntilda appeared in Banjo Kazooie in 1998.

LOL. No, he actually never did. That's the only Ninty Card with a false stat. It was just an inside joke between some friends and I that we made up while playing SMRPG ages ago. Sorry to confuse you.
