Description
On the basis of the amphibious vehicle testing vehicle in the early 21st century, the load-bearing wheels were enlarged, two sets of automatic inflatable buoyancy tanks were added, and a water jet propulsion system was installed. On the front, an unmanned turret based on OBJ490A was installed, following the variant of the 4S24 light detonation reactor. The main gun was downgraded to 125mm, and its technical and tactical level was similar to that of the 2A46M. There are three passengers in the entire vehicle, all concentrated in the body. The vehicle body structure consists of the fuel tank, engine, crew, and artillery compartment from front to back. There are two additional fuel tanks at the rear. The total weight of 25T enables it to perform a combination of human and vehicle airborne operations on the new airdrop platform. In order to reduce weight, APS and barrier armor were not installed. The heading angle is only equipped with three additional armor pieces filled with K5 reactive armor, similar to the early T72 and 90 models.
This type of vehicle was initially only used for foreign trade purposes and gradually adopted by the Soviet Army's airborne units and navy after military activities in 203X. In military operations, it often serves as a heavy firepower support for VDVs and is deployed together with airborne troops to fill the gap before the arrival of the army's main force.
