Heeeeeeeere's PUCK~!
Yup! That's right, folks! The cunning trickster from Greg Weisman's Gargoyles is the new Muse! Surprise!!!
And hurray for an actual background! I don't draw backgrounds a whole lot, so I'm a bit rusty... But that's the watering hole that Hoggle was doing his business in at the beginning of Labyrinth, and behind that is the hill with the wizzened tree that Sarah (as well as our dear dynamic duo) started her journey from. And to the right is the wall of the Labyrinth.
I'm quite proud of this. Anyway, if you're wondering what's going on in this page, here's the run-down: Since Joker was being a bully to poor Hoggle, Puck zapped him with a blast of green magic. As he taunts Mr. J, Hoggle finds that he now has a role-model, Joker rants and raves, and poor Dracula is thrown for the loop and has absolutely no clue as to what's going on. Then Puck smoothly hints that he knows the way into--and possibly through--the Labyrinth.

I think I watched Gargoyles when I was little but I don't remember a thing! Though we do have a Gargoyles movie on VHS. Oh well, I'm renting the series from Netflix, but it's going to be a long while before I get them.

I've got the series on dvd, so you can just borrow them from me. But I must warn you that there's only up to the first half of season 2 out, so you'll have to watch the rest on youtube.

Oh thank the powers that be. When I saw the preview I thought it was Legolas. While I haven't watched Gargoyles, Puck seems a lot more interesting, more so if he's based off the original Puck to an extent.
Also, I love Hoggle's fangirl expression.

NO! I hate Legolas... I never understood why every girl in the world wanted to marry him when the movies came out...
And you should watch Gargoyles! It's awesome! And Puck is based more or less off of Shakespear's Puck, though he is a bit more... malevolent, like the original mythological figure. And he's made of awesome--lots of laughs, lots of fun, and lots of love.
Since so many people haven't seen it, I think I might just post a link to the first episode in the artist note and include a little blurb on what it's about...

What I mean is, I don't understand the obsession with Orlando Bloom. Or any celebrity, really. Yeah, they're beautiful, but they're still people just like us. They arent' gods, so don't worship them! DX
And I loved Aragorn too. He was the real hero in my eyes. Frodo was just the wimp that had to carry the ring. He never really did anything truly heroic.

D: You need to watch it!!! It's a cartoon from the 90's (You know, when cartoons were actually good?) and it's surprisingly intelligent and has a lot to do with mythology and Shakespearean themes. I wish cartoons (American ones at least) were still good, I miss the old Batman cartoons and Reccess and the OLD Transformers series where they turned into animals instead of vehicles
