Dear Diary,

Today, I had fun exploring the forest. I found an old house in the middle of the forest, so I entered the house.

I was hungry, so I rushed to the kitchen to silence my rumbling stomach. There is a big table with three chairs.
I sat on the first chair, but it was too high for me.
I sat on the second chair, but it’s too small for me.
Lastly, I sat on the third chair, and it was the perfect fit, not too high, not to low.

I browsed the bowl of soups on the table, oh how yummy they looked!
I tasted the first soup, and it’s too hot that it almost melts my tongue.
I tasted the second soup. And it’s too cold; I can’t believe that soups can be as cold as ice!
Lastly, I tasted the third soup, and it was the best soup, not too hot, not too cold.

I don’t know which made me tired, was it the walking, or the eating? Anyways, I was sleepy, so I looked for a bed to rest. There’s a room on the second floor, so I went there.
I lay on the first bed. It was too hard; I swear it’s as hard as a rock…
I lay on the second Bed, and it was too soft. I thought I will sink to the bottom floor!
Lastly, I lay on the third bed, and it made me so comfortable that I fell asleep immediately.

Then, I heard sounds coming from the stairs, I opened my eyes and to my surprise, three cuddly bears are staring at me. I was so freaked out that I run towards the window and jumped without thinking!
It was a spur of the moment. As I was falling, slowly towards the soft ground, a lesson came to my mind…

“Satisfaction always comes at a price”
