Alyssa is pretty much a down-to-earth person. She tends to keep herself composed, and she has her own pace on dealing with things, even sometimes dragging people to her pace. Though, sometimes she enjoys making fun of people to make them blush because she thinks it’s cute. Her weakness is sad stories—expect her to cry over the cheesiest story, especially if it’s the story of people’s past. Oh, don’t forget her inability to use modern gadgets.

History:

Alyssa’s earliest memory is being with a man she’d call ‘father’. The reason she wasn’t sure if this man was her father is because there was no family portrait of her when she was younger. But because he told her he lost it from a lot of moving out, she didn’t question any further. Due to her father’s 'job', she moved out a lot from town to town—from one country to another. It was when she was 6, she began seeing vague images of an object’s past—she discovered it later. Her father, noticing this, told her to always wear something that covers most of her skin. Naturally, Alyssa wondered, was there something in her father’s past he didn’t want Alyssa to know?

One night, unable to hold back her curiosity, she touched his hand. Then she saw him—albeit he looked a bit younger, wielding a gun, and shoot a man and a lady. Who were they? But she could feel that he was feeling guilty. After that, she saw him looking thoughtfully at a crying infant—who was that? But when she saw him picking up the baby, suddenly it all became clear; ‘father’ killed her parents—and out of guilt, he decided to raise her as his daughter.

Just when she was about to dig up further for the reason why, he woke up—and he saw her holding his hand. But then she said;

“Thank you for not abandoning me,”

--when she woke up in the next morning, her father wasn’t there anymore. Alyssa didn’t think of anything that time, but when there was some police showed up in front of the door, she knew something wasn’t right. Turned out they were there to inform her that her father’s dead body had been found—along with a note for her saying, “I’m sorry.”

There she realized that understanding someone’s past doesn’t mean you’ll also understand them now. Part of her felt guilty—probably this wouldn’t happen if she hadn’t been so curious. Another part of her told her he had his reason, which she’s trying to find out. And so, she set off to Tantei Academy, to become a detective and to reveal the truth.

•Tends to space out. A lot.
•Her Psychometry is accurate, yes, but she doesn’t have a good grasp on wording it out. Sometimes she’d have to sketch it out to find the right words to describe it.
•Isn’t really the one to take the initiative on starting a conversation.
•She isn’t really comfortable with the idea of changing people’s view. Never really stand up for herself when insulted.
•Maybe because what happened in her past, she’s actually afraid of looking to others’ past, and tries to accept them the way they are.
•Usually wears clothes which cover up most of her skin to prevent her ability from accidentally working.
