I drew this on February 20th, 2003 and I put off CGing it until now *sheepish grin* I'm a procrastinator!! Anyways, this is of Rukawa Kaede, the aloof but cool character from the anime/manga Slam Dunk by Inoue Takehiko.I CGed this using my tablet in Photoshop. I used various shades of blue and Rukawa is always associated with that color by fans. It's his eye color anyways ^^
I think this turned out okay. So, yaay!
This is for all Rukawa fans, and especially for the three Rukawa fanatics, who are my friends, AC, Nagi-san and Anima-san! ^______^

This is an incredible piece of work, and if this is for all the Kaede fans, you must have had me in mind! I love that guy! ^_^. What a lovely piece of work you have here; it's CG style is sooo... DIFFERENT! I love how you have the monochromatic tones of blue everywhere, with very modest tone variations, complimented by the quiet orange/brown of the basketball -- very nice effect and greatly achieved. The end result feels like this is some sort of FREEZE-frame snapshot, like he just realized something not good... and it's like "uh oh..." *snrk*! The expression of his face is very clear and emotional. AWESOME work. Beautiful drawing too, lovely sketches. So true to the Slam Dunk style! Instant fave ^_^.
