Thankyou! I think it's the tiny details that make dioramas seem more real so I try to put special effort into that ^^

I beleive it, just looking at closeup pictures of their eyes probably doesn't do them justice.

Aw, thankyou! <3 I'm quite proud of it but it's by no means as perfect or finished yet.

I think that's a big reason of why I started collecting 1/6th scale dolls, they're much easier to collect things for than my bjds. I was so happy to find the birdies! I have a cockatiel too, they come with cups that they sit in, they're adorable. I am sure you'd be able to paint one blue though

lol I'm no good at painting fine details. It would end up looking like a cartoon bird by the time I was done. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled. I was tempted to buy a littlest petshop bird to use it's cage and just paint the bars to look like metal (it had a perch and a little food and water dish in it so I'd just have to worry about finding an actual bird) but in the end I didn't. The bars were really thick do I didn't think it would look right, in the end.

Naw, you could totally just go over the whole bird with a transparent blue colour and it'd look just as nice, I'm sure


I love Littlest Petshop, they have such cute props! And the animals are cute too but i totally don't want to start another collection x.x That sounds like an awesome idea though 8D

I like the old Littlest Petshop toys from when I was little. I don't care for most of the new, big-headed ones much. But the birds were cute. I might still get if for the heck of it.

And maybe I'll try that if I manage to find em at all.

Thanks so much! <33 She fits in there so well, like it really is her special place. It's a hard task collecting things though, even though the bits are so small, it's quite expensive x.x i try to make everything I can but it's taxing with my illness. I'm glad you like it though! <3

I had a friend who not only customed BJDs, but he made his own dolls, and his own doll sets like this. His apartment was (is still cept now it's a house I think) covered in doll sets and pieces. He used shoe cubbies..book cases..
I think the grand set was the tree house. It was literally this mini tree with a house in it.I am not sure if he made it or if one of the others in his group did, but it was beautiful (and huge).
But he didn't have much room back then (when it was the apartment), so I can understand what your talking about.

Oh wow, that sounds amazing! And a tree house! That sounds like to much fun ;0; i'm always on Flickr stalking pictures with things like that, getting inspiration... and generally just looking. people are so amazingly talented and they make so much of it all! D: When i move away from my parents again I'm definitely trying to find a house with a spare bedroom to put my dolls and dioramas >.> But yeah, the room is a huge issue for a lot of people I think! That tree house sounds pretty big XD

I tried to find the photo I took of that treehouse, but it's in a folder on an external hard drive that is currently at my moms house. DX I'll try to get it soon and send it to you! Lol. It really was amazing. Felina hung out in it during most of the meet along with a bunch of other BJDs.
His room really couldn't fit all he had. He makes dolls. Doll clothes. Doll shoes. Doll cubbie homes. You name it. His new place (at least from his pics on FB) seems to be alot bigger. However I havn't seen the treehouse in them yet, he might of sold it when he moved. (If he did I am going to be kind of sad I didn't nab it! Lol.)
I have yet to get a Flickr. Is it useful?
Having an extra room is always handy. Our new apartment is a two bedroom, and now that our room-mates moved out to their own place, and we can afford this on our own, I been slowly turning the extra room into a studio. I want to put my dolls in their eventually as the collection grows but I want a case first. It still acts as a guest bedroom and alot of my friends and family are fascinated with the girls, haha.

oh really? i have only three, aj, rainboedash (with shiny wings) and a blindbag-pinkie pie. these ponies are so adorable! only looking at them makes me feel like: "awww lokk at that! sooo cute!" they are turning me back into a child

I lied, I don't have Rainbow Dash yet! i totally want those shiny wing ones, they're so pretty! i'd love to get some of the little sets they have too, but alas no room x.x they're totally addictive. i love toys :E

yes they are. the problem is the two "big" ones were presents from a good friend. and know i'm planning to buy a third one by myself. i better quit this before i am swimming in ponies. why have they to be so cute?
