Because it's you putting all your anger, happiness, sadness, whatever emotion INTO the picture. A lot of the time when it's negative it works better, but that's not always the case. When you're doing it with feeling...that's when people can feel the picture...

I get to scream in the face of the guy that made me cry today so I'm feelin pretty happy.

WELL he painted two nice big smiley faces on the gazelle lockers that ~xeidian and I worked for days on all together and this wasn't the first time he did it.
it was the third.
the first was fecal matter coming from the gazelle's behind, the second was a penis on it's stomach accompanied with testicular devices.
The first one got some tears out of me and got me furoius, but the paitnacrually made my cry. Real tears.
It hurt my pride and when someone does something to my art, it hits me very personally. Especially with the time and effort put in.
So yuhh.
I'm going to scream in his face, maybe cry more. C:
