Description For art college, we were given a 'Digital Imaging Project'
The brief was so wide that it was basically 'create any digital art piece, or edit any picture on photoshop'

I hate wide objectives

So I left it til the very last minute as per usual because I didn't have any ideas... until push came to shove and I remembered I had terragen installed on this computer.

So I rendered 2 pictures and put them together and then added a lot of my own photos to make it a bit more interesting.

I'm quite pleased with it
Got it handed in 5 minutes before the deadline!

Thanks so much
Well, basically I did a few different renders on Terragen and I merged them all together with much toil and in a stupid way on photoshop. I used my own photographs for the beach pebbles and the birds and the whales.
And good tutorials?
The best place would be deviantart for tutorials

hehe, thankyou
You'd need to put your one up too! I just loved the idea with the ghosts

oh its a brilliant little program
its something rediculously small to download.. just a few 10s of megabytes. Its KINDA complicated... but its not
Its one of those programs that you just have to learn by doing it .
It involves a lot of icons down the left hand side with pictures for things like 'sky' 'water' 'landscape/terrain' and so on. And once you click on one, then a separate mini window comes up with lots of bars and numbers on it that all looks a bit daunting and mathsy. Basically, its a trial and error thing, where you just learn what each bar does by sliding them back and fourth and then seeing what it does to your image.

But definitely go get it and try it out

hehe I know
I have various projects on the go too and things that people want me to paint for them for christmas and visual journies and all that...
I bought some 'shrinkies' that arrived today to make keyrings with (the plastic that you can draw on and then put it in the oven and it shrinks by 7 times or something? )
