Personally, I'd rather have short cool fights than long retarded fights that lost their awesomeness 10 episodes ago. *coughcough Frieza VS Goku coughcough*

thats for sure
though that fight was too short to be cool.
oh well, at least the anime will make it better

Precisely why I'm excited ^_^ somehow reading fights in a manga is just never as exciting as watching it on the anime. Sadface

I'm sad, I wasn't able to watch that fight ;_; something is wrong with Anime Seasons space player and those two episodes were only viewable on Space Player. If there is somewhere else I can watch them please enlighten me!
Grimmjow/Ichigo and Kenpachi/Nnoitra were my favorite fights thus far. I thought DBZ fights were epic but Akira Toriyama got nothin on Tite Kubo! Bleach is by far my favorite anime and I've watched a lot ^_^

Hisagi is amazing. Komamura became a loser. D: What's a pity, because I had sooo much faith in him for this fight. =/
(BUT WTH, TOUSEN?! you can't even use the excuse that you 'didn't see that coming' now!)

anime rule number #7 state that a blind guy (who was blind for a looong time) who get his sight back lose any and all power advantages that it gave.
in fact it renders them weaker
π: 0 β©: 1
voissane In reply to Hergman [2009-12-24 03:43:30 +0000 UTC]
when has it happened before? D:
(and I hope this rule doesn't state that they'll be turned into moskitos too)
π: 0 β©: 1
Hergman In reply to voissane [2009-12-24 03:57:02 +0000 UTC]
ive seen it a few times but i can't name one for certain
just know that a longtime blind guy that regain his sight will often be much weaker than he was before, hence the motivational i did here
i only saw it once where it was the oposite : samurai deeper kyo, in one of the last books.
and no, nothing said about giant crickets

voissane In reply to Hergman [2009-12-24 04:00:07 +0000 UTC]
oh, that kind of... makes sense. i mean, if you analize it biologically, a person who's too used with depending solely on its audiction will get confused and suffer from migraines upon regaining its vision.
but they never follow biology on mangas, why are they following now? xD
(please, no giant crickets)
π: 0 β©: 1
Hergman In reply to voissane [2009-12-24 04:07:58 +0000 UTC]
since its a rule of anime, it doesn't exacly follow biology
otherwise, i would guess to end the fight quickly

yeah but ulquiorra had the fastest regeneration powers and he said organs can not be regenerated. Tousen just got stabbed through the brain!

I think the fights are short on purpose. Kubo probably is afrid of people drawing comparisons with the mindless 20 episode fights of DBZ.

im just asking for a 2-3 chapters fight. not a trow-away one
is it too much to ask?

Goji1954 In reply to Hergman [2009-12-19 01:06:30 +0000 UTC]
Don't get me wrong i totally agree with you, but i think it's the fear that they could last so long that the series would become drawn out.
Either that or he doesn't want to take away from the eventual final Ichigo Vs. Aizen fight.

Better they be short and awesome than long and drawn out. And who knows, it could turn out longer when it reaches the anime.

IT ALWAYS DOES
thankfully, and they make it good.
just check hisagi fight vs findor
the bleach anime is inventive, unlike naruto anime

DemonKing-aka-Grim In reply to Hergman [2009-12-19 22:59:06 +0000 UTC]
I loved the anime fight between Hisagi and Findor, it was awesome.
Kubo may be shortening the fights to get to the epic battle between Full Hollow Ichigo and a possible(hopefully) Hollowfied Aizen.
Plus, it's kinda ironic(funny to me) for Tosen to be killed by his own lieutenant.

well, Tosen kinda has a double-bladed scythe in his skull and half of it coming out of his mouth...
I don't think anyone could survive their brain in several pieces...

But I'm still happy. Tosen could smash to the ground a captain in a few seconds. Then Hisagi came out of nowhere and kill him. I like that. Is not as amazing it should be, but I like it.
