The ominous light source glowing from below gives the image an undeniably looming feel of shroud. The scene is made so much more captivating by the inversion of expectation; above the foggy cloud line, we'd expect to see a peaceful sky, however it is very much the opposite and the intimidating darkness envelopes and brings out the form of the mountains wonderfully. The contrasting detail on the landscape as compared to the clouds is also very confronting. Awesome work!
