Father Benjamin was one of the original members of the Baptists that became chosen by its peers to lead the faction after successful campaigns outside the city, He's been leading The Baptists for 30 years

Father Benjamin seems to run both the faction and it's town without a problem.

sharing the same violent views of Christianity as the town, he authorizes the use of execution and exile for the residents if they violate sacred rules, also authorized the faction to use violent methods such as hanging, crucifixion and beheading of trespassers, and use their corpses on signs of warning for outsiders

race-mixing, use of drugs, alcohol, lustfulness, and thievery are punishable with exile

homosexuality, murdering a local, sexual violence. and pederasty are punishable by death

He was 10 years old when the city started it's militarization, and 15 when the faction was founded, his bravery and tactics earn him a high rank on the group, after successfully retrieving military-grade armament from an abandoned base in a scavenged mission, he was the only survivor of the group.
this would earn him the love of its neighbors and later the leadership of the faction

he wears a blue robe with a black suit underneath, he has 4 sons and a daughter, her wife passed away due to illness
