Conjured this up because playing Dawn of War rekindled my love for Warhammer 40k.Imagine having Orks for Red and Space Marines for Blu
(Obviously Ultramarines, not Blood Ravens as in the picture)Also my first real experiment with muzzleflashes. I am not pleased, however, but 'eh, it's good enough for me.
Done in Garry's Mod with models that someone (I forget) yanked out of Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War by RELIC.

Ultramarines are blue. There are many chapters that are not blue. Like Blood Angels. They're red.

I don't know how it was done, someone ripped a whole bunch of DoW models years ago and uploaded them to Facepunch, which is where I got them.

Too bad there isn't a green team in TF2, my favorite Space Marine chapter in 40k is the Salamanders. Nothing against Blood Ravens, though, they're pretty awesome in their own right.

I think a TF2 40k mod would work like this:
-Heavy: either a marine or a hvy weapons guardsman (think, Try Again Bragg from GG)
-Scout: Eldar?
-Soldier: Marine sgt/captain
-Sniper: Either tau or a guard sniper (Larkin?)
-Medic: Apothocary or guard medic
-Demoman: Crazed catachan with a grenade launcher!!!
-Engineer: Tau probably
-Spy: Eldar warpspiders or tyranid lictors
-Pyro: Guard with a flamer (meltagun upgrade?)

Scout - Possesed (They get the scout rule if you roll right)
Soldier - CSM Sgt.
Sniper - ...No long-ranged guys are there really for CSM...
Medic - Sorcerer
Demoman - Obliterator
Engineer - Cultist/Heretic
Spy - Chosen
Pyro - Terminator with Heavy Flamer

The new Space Marine class is broken as all hell.
I hear the Engie's getting plasma turrets to balance it out, though.

I should send an E-mail to Valve suggesting that as an Unlockable for the Engi. Not as fast firing as the Miniguns (or 50. cal machinegun on the level 1) - Perhaps you can even dodge the pulse - but with about 100 damage per hit.
Finally something to whack Pyros with.

Actually... TF40,000 really would kick ass... It would work too... Nothing like the joy of having the excuse to yell 'For the Emperor!' in the best online shooter to date
