norse myths... Odin is searching for wisdom(it is too big for my scanner, so I have to photo it and it was hell, so the colours are slightly off)

Thank you so much for your approval. I develop such style because I have studied entient art styles and the myths a lot (for nearly 20 years), I wanted to create most fitting stile for the theme.

Hi the size of the motive (the internal as I understand it) will be 6.5 inch per 9.5 inch on canvas size 8.5 per 11.Β I hope that is the answer to your question

Thanks! That would work well. Would you mind confirming the 9x12 motive size? I will be putting it in an 11x14 frame that has an 8x10 mat. It sounds like the 9x12 would be a perfect fit for the 8x10 cut out.Β
BTW I'm probably going to get another 1 or 2 or your other works so I may ask the question on another one too. I have to look up shipping times though to see when I should order.

I love spotting the 'hidden' elements of the norse myths in your paintings, likeΒ Nidhogg in the roots and the eyeball in the well in this one. Loki looks kinda bored

And I love when someone recognizes the stories placed behind, yes Loki kind of do not see the point, too theatrical and unnatural for him... he is more into the tricks than the philosophy of existence.
