Sniff, because this is just a sketch and sniff, because I want winter!
One of the best sketches I've done for a while. 45 minutes from scratch, no references. Usually I don't submit these or even save, but something about this one...
Don't ask me what the horse's doing. I don't know. Changing leads after a jump? Anyho, that's not important.
I run out of time sooner than I would have liked. The horse has bizarre edges and stuff, mane and tail are more than a bit off, bg doesn't have much details...
Oh, and my idea was to do something "white" so snow and white objects with a nice couloured lights. I'm a bit amazed I held the light directions even this well...
But yes. I like this one.

I'm not sure about the orange background, I think if it was a little lighter and pinker, it would work better with the other tones of the picture. (Not just saying that because I love pink, haha.) having said that I do love the idea and all those low-opacity brushstrokes!
