Description One of the reasons why I've been absent for so long:

I've finally watched all episodes of Game of Thrones season 1 (unfortunately not in German tv yet) and started reading the Song of Fire and Ice book two because I was so curious how it would go on.

So when I started doodling a face a few days ago I knew I would turn it in something more fantasy-like She's a little bit inspired by Sansa Stark from GoT, but I didn't mean to portray her. That's why I gave her another name. Clothes are inspired by some Renaissance paintings.

No direct reference for her, but a few photographs of different faces that helped me with the lighting. The background contains overpainted textures from my own photographs. Lazy background, I know. But want to move on to other paintings.

Painted in Photoshop, AzPainter, Mypaint. About a day of work. Will probably revise this one soon. I'm still not happy with some parts, but pretty proud of the face.

Edit 10-07-11: Improved the eyes a little with the help of the wonderful *crayonmaniac

Thanks! You have amazing 3d artworks by the way. I'm usually not a big fan of poser artists (because the majority is lacking skills in lighting, color, composition etc.) but your art shows how it should be done. Very impressive. Come on, you can't do that without knowing very well how to paint!
