During the Fall of Reach the UNSC Army executed a number of emergency civilian evacuation operations. The one pictured here is of a Pelican Dropship airlifting civilians from a skyscraper landing pad in New Alexandria recently cleared by Noble Six and a variety of ODST and UNSC Army Troopers. The Pelican Dropship 77 Troop Carrier (Pelican D77-TC) is carrying civilians to an evacuation spaceport escorted by two UH-144 Falcons. The escort would come under fire by Covenant air and ground forces but was defended by Noble Six utilizing a mounted M247H 12.7mm heavy machine gun mounted in a UH-144S Falcon carrier bay.
