Bio:
Risley comes from a family of circus performers, which makes him very agile in combat and knowledgeable about travel. He had an upbringing that was very relaxed compared to Jumper's embarrassing parents and Janice's abusive adopted mom. Risley discovered his power at the age of 4 when he was playing with the paint set he got for his birthday. He's also skilled at face painting.
Due to Risley not being the talkative type, he's become a good observer to his surroundings both in battle, the classroom and at home. Though not as smart as his rival Imani or Althea, he's able to find unorthodox ways to stop an enemy. Even though Risley knows the dangers and risks of becoming a magical boy, he still goes on through situations without fear because Risley knows that this will only boost the enemies' ego. Outside of battle, he uses this as a way to tackle other challenges like homework or stopping bullies from picking on either his family or friends. His blunt honesty about the obvious and tough subjects like the risks of becoming a magical girl and the dangers of opponents makes him alienated amongst the students, however. Although he tries to be fair in fights, he does have a sadistic streak.
