POEM

TITLE: The Construction of Holiday Rex

Come one... or more to see, our work
Panhonor Rex! O usa-gimu-sume
Crafters, each tell art, and you
I Da Foreman, say begin now!

A crease, long... so tight, glisten
I Polish it, itzy bit by bit

Her hand, heel breast...tittilate
I Climb high, o-very sky high

Warm taffy...peppermint! belting
I Sleep on, through dawn

U support, o puffy cheeks, La Mont
I Sampson be, the between

Treasure! of foot be, farthest
I Sneak... ask, work or play?

Her soul, at da navel, diamond
I Kiss n wish, miss eternally

Da storm, O Greytail, wildness
I Gaucho ride, Yipee! Ki! Ya!

O hillside, supple smooth, a perfect
I Read n see, rub the real

Soft snow, so honey sticky, hanging
We Acrobats, the Sky Nipples

Da two bells, Cordillera, r hidden
I See while... towers ring

Da sweet, O Rex's spot! or neat
I Board and, lick da line

The cleft, n satin peaks, do speak
We Dancers, rhythm plus rhyme

Da face! the queen! to Rex... best!
I Touch air, I not blemish

Da blades, do sprout night, dreams
I Tattooist, plant a kiss

Da gentle, merry go round, Pinnatip
I Pull-up or, end life

O goddess, da quaint, tell no one
I Secret tell... her my pearls

Da crown, is over sky, to the world
I Fan see u, u Rex fans!

...now go one, n all who saw, our work
Panhonor Rex! O usa-gimu-sume

Craft Note:
The poetic style is a Tanka form from Nippon. Tanka is a form of Waka or poetry in english. It has two phrases , the first is of the form 5-7-5 while the second is  7-7 . In Nippon they do not use syllables. They use on. Nippon On are equivalent to the compartments of HEllenistic/Roman syllables: onset/nucleus/coda.
Cat is one Hellenistic /ROman syllable. But, has an onset [c]+nucleus[a]+coda[t]. Remember the letters in the hellenistic roman [H/R] alphabet do not reflect the symbols for sounds used in phonetic transcriptions.
You find out how many Nippon On are in a word in english by transliterating it into Hiragana. The following is the challenge. Nippon On do not utilize all the possible sounds. For example, the word cat when transliterated into Hiragana will display c- an On- t .
Structurally, I decided to take the unhiragana-able as on themselves. Through my wee system Cat: is one H/R syllable , has one Nippon On, I consider three poetic On.
