Flutterbat... Ok, is Fluttershy the morphable pony of the main cast now or are the animators just testing how cute she can still be in other forms? Either way I love it. XD
At first I had planned to draw Applejack because, you know, apples for a cutie mark is a big target for a vampire fruit bat. XD But since the idea was used by several artists, and their ideas were so funny too, I wouldn't be drawing something completely new.
So I decided to use another idea I had. While watching the episode I thought for a moment that Fluttershy was going to bite Rainbow Dash when she approached her (was I the only one who thought this? XD) so here's what could've happened.

I love this! All of my yes! 8D I just love BatterDash (FlutterbatDash?), and this is no exception! Flutterbat has really been so fun for everybody. XD And you're right, I think they are just finding ways to morph her into anything and still make her adorable.

And also some fun in Keep Calm and Flutter On, where Rainbow, I swear, acted more like a jealous and overprotective girlfriend. XD If I never saw the show, then saw that episode and someone told me they were dating, I'd believe them!Β

I agree with you on that, Rainbow did sound more like a jealous girlfriend. Especially because the other ponies, even if they are all considered to be in the same level of friendship towards each other, didn't express the same feeling with such passion as Rainbow did. XD I swear they are dating each other, we are just allowed to see the subtle parts on screen! XD

Oh nice, that should be fun, even more with her in control. I also had an idea, but it's nothing special, for a little 4-koma comic. Where Rainbow is half asleep and suddenly notices that Flutterbat is staring at her while hanging upside down on the ceiling. You can imagine what comes after that. XD

Especially if it's a backstory episode that explains more of their friendship back then. It would be cute and so romantic! And it's why I love Hurricane Fluttershy, it was just perfect! So perfect! Squee! It was beyond full of ship teasing~

Wouldn't she say "all of us"? It's just so hilarious and adorable that it screams "We're dating!". And I think you're right, it's like they are dating and we get to see the subtle stuff on screen! Yeah, Hurricane Fluttershy was one of the best episodes with them so far, because we actually see how much these two need each other, be it as friends or as lovers. I mean, Rainbow had all the pegasi of Ponyville working with her but it wasn't the same without Fluttershy, even if she didn't have the necessary wing power Rainbow still wanted her there. And the joy on Rainbow's face when she saw Fluttershy joining the hurricane, oh my heart! XD
Yes, I agree with all of that. >X3 And now that you mention the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 episode, every time I catch that episode on tv I always think this; Rainbow was desperate to get some cider, she could've gone alone to be the first in line, but she decided to take Fluttershy along instead of leaving her behind. Oh and let's not forget that when they get in line she allowed Fluttershy to stay in front of her. Just this intro of the episode was enough to show Rainbow isn't selfish when comes to Fluttershy.

Oh I know! My heart! I can't take it! <3 That's definitely what I loved so much about the episode! Rainbow being so proud of Fluttershy and just wanting her there by her side was so sweet! My feels! It was just glorious! I especially loved how Rainbow was genuinely proud of her when Fluttershy showcased her improved wing power during training! Awww! It's true, it really did show they needed each other! Especially Rainbow needing Fluttershy! Those little moments were just so sad but so sweet! Like Rainbow reaching out to her and kicking the dirt in frustration, or when she was so sad, she didn't care about the record. Awww... Oh, the smile on her face when she saw Fluttershy in the tornado! Yes! That was so cute!
Then she immediately turns the praise to Fluttershy, in front of Spitfire, and calls her her βNumber One Flyerβ! Awwww! Gosh, my shipping feels! <3 Oh, and the episode also had them touching each other. A lot. Intimately.

I know the feeling! XD So we can all agree that FlutterDash is awesome and we'd love to see more scenes with them! One thing that would be awesome is if we see them hanging out together, for no reason. Like for example, in "A Friend In Deed", we see Rainbow reading at the library. It'd be awesome if we saw them doing something together like that!
I liked Equestria Girls and while the lack of FlutterDash didn't ruin it for me, but yeah. XP It was so sad that they never once spoke to each other. They sat next to each other, sometimes looked at one another, and even touched one another, but it did leave a lot to be desired! But it was nice how they shared a tender smile at the end. :3 Oh well, at least it seems that they weren't directly affected with one another!Β

Oh yeah Equestria Girls; sure it didn't ruin it for us but as you said it was a little disappointing. I mean, Pinkie and Twilight had quite interaction, same goes for Rarity and Applejack (I'm just giving these examples because I ship them XD), but Fluttershy and Rainbow barely talked to each other. Well, could've been worse. They could've been affected by Sunset Shimmer plans of breaking their friendship but it didn't seem like they stopped talking to each other. And like you said, even though they didn't talk there was some physical interaction between them. X3 And I have to say I loved one bit when they tossed Twilight's crown around, Rainbow instantly tossed it to Fluttershy, knowing she is clumsy and all, she didn't hesitate. :3

That's true, I guess so! At the same time, it would've been so adorably awesome to see them make up. 8D With a hug! Applejack, I love you, but go hug Rarity, please. You're not Fluttershy! XD Still it's true, I like to think that they were still friends in all of this. Especially with Rainbow leaning on Fluttershy because of what happened with her and Applejack, then Fluttershy leaning on her because of what happened with Pinkie. So maybe Rainbow was busy a lot and they couldn't see each other, but at the same time, they were still friends! It just wasn't common knowledge! Let's go with that. ;3 Their friendship became better! And after Twilight left, maybe they....oh you know... decided to date~ ;3

Speaking of Magic Duel, not only was Rainbow's unwavering faith in Fluttershy absolutely adorable, but there was something else. ;3 During the bit where they joined hooves after telling Fluttershy to go outside the dome, Rainbow gave Fluttershy bedroom eyes. And it wasn't a "blink and you miss it" moment, either! It held on her for a few seconds and you knew she was looking directly at Fluttershy! X3 It was glorious! I think she was telling her exactly what they'd be doing after this was over. ;3

Yes indeed! ;3 Like Pinkie would pull a little Sunset Shimmer of her own, except for good! She tells Rainbow to meet her somewhere... like the bakery cafe we saw! Then she tells Fluttershy to meet her there, not telling either of them what she told the other. Then Rainbow and Fluttershy show up there, see each other, and see Pinkie isn't there yet. They say they're both meeting her, so they decided to wait, since she apparently wanted to see them both. ;3
So they sit and talk, eventually forget why they're there and just have a little fun together. It gets later and they realize Pinkie never showed. Did she stand them up?! But it's okay, they had a fun time together! Rainbow takes Fluttershy home, where they sit on the porch swing for a while. It's a little late, but they just don't want to part! Eventually Rainbow brings an arm around Fluttershy, all before finally meeting her gaze. Fluttershy shyly smiles, blushing a bit. Rainbow notes how adorable she looks, how pretty she is... How much fun they had... How much she missed it...
Rainbow then asks her to go out again, which Fluttershy accepts. <3 And then they kiss!
Pinkie is watching nearby, doing a little dance and feeling proud of herself. A job well done! She then looks up at the sky, watching the hour of twilight going by, and thinks of how much she misses Twilight Sparkle...

And that final part with Pinkie nhhg! It was something that bothered me at the end of the movie, Fluttershy has Rainbow and Applejack as Rarity but Pinkie doesn't have Twilight. A part of me wants to believe that after pony Twilight went back to her world the human Twilight would be transferred to their school or something of the sort. Pinkie needs love too! >X3
And don't ever apologize for writing such piece of art, it's gorgeous and inspiring in every way! X3
They got such busy hands~ at some point they wouldn't let go of each other even in meetings with their friends and Twilight would probably have to tell them to knock it off. XD

Now that Rainbow knows the truth, that Sunset Shimmer had interfered, she wants Fluttershy back. But she has no idea how to go about it. What if Fluttershy doesn't want her back? During the night of the dance, she goes outside after she's had her fun, using her new wings outside. Within a little bit, Fluttershy comes out side, having seen her leave and was concerned. They talk a bit, glad to finally have a little downtime together. Rainbow asks if Fluttershy can fly, and Fluttershy demonstrates.
To be romantic, Rainbow takes Fluttershy into her arms and flies up into the sky! Fluttershy is a little scared, but is delighted by Rainbow's gesture. They end up on the roof of he school for privacy. Rainbow then confesses that she still loves Fluttershy and wants to give being together another shot. Delighted, Fluttershy kisses her sweetly and agrees, having felt the same way all along.Β
Thrilled, Rainbow picks her up and flies all over in excitement, squealing and cheering. She kisses her, while still in the air, which Fluttershy returns, and they smooch up in the air! <3
Ta-da!

Exactly! 8D I mean, remember back in Sonic Rainboom? Rainbow was actually opening up about how scared she was for the competition right to Fluttershy! Sure, she expressed nervousness earlier, but here, she was really vulnerable! Then when their friends showed up, she just brushed it off like it was nothing. Yes, you could say she felt better knowing they were there, but she still closed off her true emotions! And even after that, she STILL got more scared! And who could forget her teary-eyed smile when she saw Fluttershy cheering her little heart out? 83

Not a coincidence at all! 8D Fluttershy definitely knew the kind of pet Rainbow NEEDED. And who better than a sweet, kind, and loyal tortoise like Tank? It's no wonder Rainbow soon warmed up to him and even became affectionate with him. He just brings out the softer, sweeter side of her! Just like Fluttershy can do! In a natural and nice way that makes Rainbow feel more comfortable with expressing! Oh yes, and I love their duet! ^w^ It's adorably awesome! 8D I think a couple of other songs count as duets? Nah, probably not. XP I think it technically is the only one!
Yep! I do! 8D Originally, I more or less was indifferent to it. But I did like it as a backstory idea for Celestia! Then Keep Calm and Flutter On came by, a fanfic, and then your adorable drawing based on the said episode. XD I just kinda got a little hooked on the idea of the two! Oh yes, she better keep him on a leash! ...Mostly. ;3 Hee, in one BatterDash story I'm going to post soon, there's an epilogue where Discord and Celestia are awake in bed together. 8D Discord is at first all suave and romantic, while still silly, and Celestia just loves it. ;3 They're totally doing it, by the way.

Yeah, Tank has been a great help to Rainbow show more emotions. X3 It was incredible, I wasn't expecting the first duet in the series would be with them, was quite a pleasant surprise! Well, I thought the song in the episode "Bats!" would be the second duet but then the other ponies joined so I'm not sure if it's still considered a duet. Oh well, what matters is that Rainbow's and Fluttershy's was the best so far. XD I'd love to hear them sing together again. X3
Truth be told, I was a bit indifferent before "Calm Down and Flutter On", I just considered it a little before that because my best friend showered me with pretty fanart of them. And then with the episode and the fanfiction she wrote, bam I'm hooked! XD

True, Bats! was more of an ensemble song than a duet. ...And it totally sampled tunes from The Nightmare Before Christmas! 8D Which was totally and completely awesome! ^w^ All of my yes! But yeah, the Find A Pet song seems to remain as the only true duet! X3 And that is glorious! Yes! I hope they sing together again! They did that so well. 8D Andrea Libman and Ashleigh Ball really sang and played off each other so nicely.
