Commission piece, which was a real joy to work on. I really do relish the more beastly looking characters

I wanted to give this one a sense of 'You shall not pass'... Like there's no way you're going to get past him to the town beyond unless he's willing to let it happen.

The brief detailed a very big character, almost 9ft tall, so hopefully the fact he fills the scene helps to convey some of that. Also the brief asked for chemical burns over his left side (oh boy my google research for this piece was err... varied!) so there was a gnarly side to him that was great fun to draw.
