Description Life is Death; Death is Freedom; Freedom is Life.

Notches and bends,
once attached as a whole
the wind stole my home
my source of nourishment and life.
I curved with it daily,
it shaped my fingers and arms
the mother's soft touch
showing her children how to grow.
I could have been beautiful
when my leaves had regrown;
my skeleton is all that's left.
Even though I am not the cause of her ire
my skin was stripped from my core
where my leaves once grew.
Death was the price of my freedom.
I never got to bloom.

At least I didn't end up
the paper this was written on.

I like it. The last line is my favorite, but the overall imagery is really great too.
