Ahh! How long did this take you?! The composition is beautiful and the curve of the ship/makeship for houses makes it even more so. I love all the little details in the floorboards, in the lighting and in the figure in the middle ground. >_< I love how when the clouds break, there is a lighter sky that's revealed, as if this is early morning. And with this idea in mind, the darkness isn't so ominous anymore--it's a bit, shall I say, comforting? Or maybe it's during the day but a storm is coming and the darkness is not receding (as I originally thought), but coming in to blanket the region. So many interpretations!
