Description In the 1974 the United States dollar was worth more than today, so naturally it looked larger.  The skills of the engravers were unbelievable, but until you look closely at the money, it all passes unappreciated to the public.

Taken with my Hasselblad and an extension tube with an 80mm F2.8 Zeiss Planar on Kodak Plus X panchromatic roll film in the mid 1970s.

The presentation was made for a 20 by 24 poster to catch the passerby's attention in a store window.

I have done this with a 4 by 5 view camera before, but this time I went easier with a 6cm by 6cm square medium format SLR.  As careful as I could be, still it wasn't perfectly aligned.  For my purpose it didn't matter.

interestlngly, I can't not think of any country where the value of money hasn't been reduced.  also interesting is at the same time gold and other collectables have risen.

Inflation is the friend of the common man if saleries follow.

When you have a fixed rate mortgage your payments decrease relatively each year
