Description
Photo #12 of a 12 series of images from the band appearance of The Beatles, August 21, 1966.
Emotions ran high for the "tifosi" at the concert in Crosley Field, held in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Both women and men were caught up in frenzy produced from the only concert the band were ever to have in the region.
Taken with an Exakta VXIIa, with a 135mm preset telephoto lens, on Kodak Plus X film. If you wish to see the whole series, go to my gallery. All these images were never published before, taken when I was 16. The original concert date, the day before, was rained out.
This series is dedicated to my 18 year old daughter, who has been a Beatle fan since she first got an iPod. Lucky for her, dad has an extensive journal collection of images as well as first edition albums to listen to.
I hope this series has brought memories to us oldsters and insight to the younger viewers.
As always feel free to download, just give me photo credit.
