Description

Hurricane Nicole dumped moisture here in southern Indiana. With the dropping temperatures, what was expected as a light rain turned into 3 inches of snow. The kind of snow that clumps together bringing joy to snowman builders.

On the way into town and the gallery I kept an eye out for an example of winter beauty. As often happens, Greasy Creek, was the setting for this image.

It was a good day, I sold 3 images.

A rare no crop image, taken with my all weather Nikon. Originally in color, but with so little I converted to black and white, then added a smidgen of blue wash, for the cold.
