My favorite princess in Greeeen!!!! Have to say, it works much better than the pink and is just as pretty as blue. Truly wonderful!

do you share as much dislike for the pink as i? i love pink, but her dress is definitely blue (with the exception of a few moments where flora gets crazy). so, why the advertizing committee decided that they would always put her in pink, i have no idea. ~*shrugs*~

Yes, indeed, I DO hate the pink dress! The reason they put Aurora in pink (and this is from a Disney Cast Member) is because they don't want people confusing Aurora with Cinderella.

Now, Cinderella (in the film) was neither yellow-haired like Aurora, nor was she is blue (more of a silvery dress). So why is SHE walking around in Aurora's colors??? Don't know either. Somebody at Disney is not paying much attention. If they got Cinderella's coloring right, they wouldn't have to change Aurora's. Interesting though, Cinderella is featured in a pink dress for an entire scene.

Anyway, I just don't buy their merchandise anymore.

it always bothered me that they made cinderella blonde . . . . even more so than the murder of aurora's dress. didn't they even make her blonde in the sequel? for shame.

Yes, her hair was a brighter in the sequel ... more orange than the reddish-brown color of the original. It's really bizarre that she is blonde on all the merchandise. I mean, they really butchered her coloring. I call her 'bleach-blonde' Cindy, now.

Sorry I'm clogging your comment area with this. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

Probably to distinguish her from Cinderella, whose gown is usually depicted as blue (even though it's sort of silver-gray in the film).

I prefer Aurora in blue, myself.

well, all of the modifications are better than ariel. it's not as if she wears . . . . mmm . . . 4 dresses in the film (not including the sail) and yet whenever they want to put her in something, they create some monstrosity out of her fin. purple and green make for an ugly dress.
