Just a photo montage to show who inspired first Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri to draw his character Druuna.Valerie Kaprisky is a French actress. Serpieri has got the idea to draw Druuna when he saw her in a movie, "La femme publique", in 1984. Druuna is not exactly Valerie Kaprisky, but the actress gaves the inspiration to the artist.

You have to get your ideas from somewhere. A good choice for one of my favorite pornographic characters. (I only wish I could find the books).

Yes, Ana Lima, but certainly she is not busty as Druuna is. Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri could maybe took her face (beautiful for sure and very similar), but DruunaΒ΄s body... well I would love to know on which model Serpieri was inspired.

I don't know who is Ana Lima, but that's not what Serpieri said in one of his old artbooks.
He talked about V. Kaprisky as inspiration source, but i never heard if this Ana.

Here you have some images of Ana Lima. (Brazilian Model) normaly people thinks the model is Adriana Lima, which is a diferent one (good looking BTW, but is not Ana)

Maybe Serpieri some pics of her, but he started to work on his character in the middle of the 80s. I think he was inspired by many women over the years.

THE OLD MATERIAL MADE BY SERPIERI (WESTERN STYLE) HAVE ALMOST THE SAME KIND OF FEMALE BODY.
IT IS GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE ITERESTED ON THIS AT THAT POINT.
SERPIERI HAVE BEEN MY INSPIRATION SINCE MY BEGINING AS COMIC ARTIST, AT 80Β΄S.

Well, i tried to buy all the books i could on Druuna or Serpieri western style comics, even a limited edition comic with lithography. And i found a statue of Druuna at a good price!
I really like his way of drawing.

I love the style of Serpieri and Druuna is a dream.
I have almost all the comic books, except some scketch books.
I still waiting for a producer to dare to make a movie (hopefully real humans) but some in good 3D quality, would be great I believe.

Unfurtunately she will not be able to perform my Female Warriors characters on live photo comic, which is a project I want to make so badly....
