Hello! Sometime ago, when rumors were spiraling around the internet about a possible Justice League of America movie being made, I did a design of what Wonder Woman could possibly look like.Well, the other day the first official photo of Superman was released for Dawn of Justice, and it inspired me to redesign my concept of Wonder Woman.
Previously, I 'cast' Gina Carano as Wonder Woman because I thought she'd be a good fit. Warner Bros didn't accept my proposal (their choice I guess...) and cast Gal Gadot instead. However, I think Gadot is an interesting pick, and I'm really excited to see what she does with the role.
Anyway, hope you all like the design.

This is way better. Looks like an actual warrior. From what I've seen of the upcoming movie, the look is very ...lets just go with illogical.

Great artwork, but I got to say it. Wonder Woman ain''t Wonder Woman without her Lasso of Truth. I know people will tell me I'm just some old troglodyte who has never done gender studies, and I should take my old Perez comics and disappear but I don't care. Superman may have super strength, Batman the batmobile and his gadgets, but Wonder Woman has a far superior weapon - Truth. She didn't come to Mans' World simply to kick ass, she came to promote justice, peace and harmony.

*So* close. She really needs neck protection though. I mean if she's vulnerable enough to need armor, leaving her neck exposed kind of defeats the purpose. Lop off an arm or a leg and someone *might* survive. Lop off a head and generally they don't pull through.

Nice, but the face is a bit blurry compared to sharper edges in the rest of the image. Quick tip: make a new layer, hit CTRL/Command+ALT+SHIFT+E to copy-merge a flattened version of your image into a new layer, CTRL+J that layer to duplicate it, set the new layer to an Overlay/Soft Light blend mode and go to Filter>Other>High Pass. What the High Pass filter does is it acts kind of like a 2D version of bump-mapping by finding your edges and highest contrast areas. It'll make your layer all 50% gray with darker and lighter grays representing changes in form and edges with value. Set the slider to something VERY subtle so it doesn't look gross and over-powering and it'll tighten up those edges for you. You can erase it on unwanted areas so you only call attention to the face, or you can use a layer mask, so you can control the effect. If the effect is too over-powering you can switch from Overlay to Soft Light and lower the fill or opacity. Might want to kill those flames in the foreground, too; they're distracting and they wouldn't be so sharp given that your camera lens here would want to focus on the character. The embers are fine though. I'd recommend recropping so the eye level is right on the upper third of the image in the rule of thirds, as right now due to compositional placement (and just sharper details and better value contrast) her upper breast plating is acting as a focal point and drawing my attention when it should be her face. Hope that helps!

The first I read anything about WW casting the headline said 'Fast and Furious actress cast as WW' and as Gina Carano was in the last film, I immediately assumed it was her and got very excited. Then the possibility of Michelle Rodriguez popped into my mind and I almost had an aneurism from sheer excitement.
Little surprised by the actual casting, but I'm excited to see what she does too.

Gal isnt really fit for a amazon woman... She would be good as TwickGirl, but an amazon princess.. Thats like casting some random russian mafia guy to play Mario
