Description A piece that I am not so happy with. I originally planned for the star in the middle to hang from the supporting tripod. This however did not work since I couldnt find a way to hide the wires leading up from the base. I also had to think about the star swinging from side to side and damaging the tripod by scratching the plexiglass. This piece was intended to represent trigonometry in the stars, and how sailors would use the stars along with simple trigonometry to navigate the seas. I originally tried to get LEDs that were brighter and more yellow. Turns out I was unable to find that type of LED and it turned out more orange in the end.
