Am I the first in Malaysia to do Ghost Recon or what? I cosplayed as Kozak from Ghost Recon Future Soldier during Comic Fiesta 2012 which was held on the 22nd and 23rd of December in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately few in Malaysia could recognize what I'm cosplaying as (and Tom Clancy games are supposed to be mainstream), so I have to put up with most people calling me "Counterstrike" (does get on my nerve, really).Still, I'm happy with how the outfit turns out overall. Need to upgrade with just a wee bit more pouches next time or maybe a proper Ghost Recon patch and I'll be all set. The XM8 is a non-firing toygun which I spraypainted with Krylon Camoflage spraypaint, sand and black.

The XM8 I have is a toygun manufactured by a company called Taidi. It's fragile but very cosplay safe. www.facebook.com/taiditoyguns
You can get the half-mask cover from Ebairsoft or Redwolf Airsoft. The great thing about it is that you can put it on after wearing a helmet!

That's awesome. I was thinking of trying a custom Ghost Recon-esque cosplay/loadout for airsofting. Looks like I'll need a lot of Magpul stuff, haha.Β

Cool! I totally dig the Rifleman class loadout in GRFS. Thinking of changing my Ghost Recon loadout into that for the future. But my own take requires a replica of Crye Precisions armor carrier and I'm aiming for high-end brands like FLYYE!

You definitly need the moolah to aquire the necessary gear to make an accurate kit, that's for sure! Just goes to show some of the details game developers put in.

That "rifle" prop you're using was canceled by HK, just saying, it cost $22.4 million worth of tax payers money and it turned out to be a dud. Nice PVC btw.

It's a CIRAS with protective kit upgrade (minus the groinplate).

Nice cosplay man! I keep getting confused with Ghost from COD (And I hate COD with a passion). One suggestion though, I found that the Pantac RRV resembles the plate carrier Kozak wears perfectly. Check it out

I don't hate Call Of Duty, but I dislike generalizations (anything with a skullmask is Ghost? Goddammit people other games exist!). I currently have no plans to ditch the CIRAS for another vest as I have the budget for next year's cosplay plan already allocated, so I prefer to keep making minor upgrades from what I already have.

Yeah, I know. Really appreciate it man. RRVs cost less than a CIRAS so perhaps I could encourage those with a lesser budget to cosplay Ghost Recon together with me.
