Description I love custom orders. Such unique color designs each time.   It's sort of a revisit of an older "kiss" design, but with unique accent points.

Interesting notes: this is redyed kimono silk. ^_~ I have this lovely vintage kimono, but I had to treat it for a slight smell (I have a sensitive nose...). So I hand-washed it, sun-dried it, ironed it, and then redyed it. Now it smells like any other fabric; not so much at all. ^__^V I win. Anyway, you might recognize that pink...that's why.

I love the pink hues of this piece!! Their difference/contrast is subtle yet quite pleasing to the eye, and the fabric helps that visual effect

ohh, thank you. We picked out the colors after much deliberation, but I think it turned out charmingly.

I usually like gradation, but this is a good palette as well! If the color were to identify the maturity of the sakura, I'd say this one is kinda late teenage for some reason.

oh, that's a good point. Different people do like different colors~ I'm not quite sure of the age of the requestee, but I can see a youthful enthusiasm and brightness, you're right.

Hanging petals are unique, aren't they? I like the look of it, but it's not commonly asked for.

yes, I like bright and happy pinks! I recently did a kind of peachy-pink one, but my lovely bride keeps remembering members of the bridal party who also want something to wear. very drawn-out "making" process, but it's so pretty...

The hanging petals really are a feature unique to kanzashi, I really don't see many styles like that in western styles hair flowers. 

That's a bit silly, they should write down everything they need *then* go to the comissioner.
