The Silver Scarab

Robert Freeman is highly intelligent engineer. He created his Scarab Disk (III), which grants him enhanced speed, strength and agility through electromagnetic radiation. He can also use it as a hand held or thrown weapon, unleashing electric shocks or EM pulses against his target. The disk has extendible blades (II), and can extend out into a magnetic glider (VI) which allows him to fly anywhere there is sufficient metal to magnetically repel against.

Aside from his disk he carries an arsenal of tools and gadgets in his utility belt (IV) as well as an energy absorbing cape (V) which can form a simple paraglider or even detach completely if caught.

The Silver Scarab has never been caught, and his identity remains a secret.

Robert is not evil, but in attempt to clear his name when the company he worked for framed him for a terrible 'accident', he was foiled by an American superhero Air-Force. He was saved by the Supervillain Lord Fear, and the two of them joined forces in bringing the company down. And making a lot of money in the process.

It was due to this incident with Air Force that he formed an intense dislike for all superheroes, as he blames him, and others like him for forcing him into a life of crime.

(note: During this time period [approx 20 years ago] he currently has a 5 year old son William who will one day become the hero Freestyle.)

He is medium build and about 5'10 in height.
