Joey’s record I did for Joey Drew’s All-Star Music Review! ⭐

The moment I’ve heard that Joey is also going to sing I have proclaimed the task to make his album cover as MINE. My babygirl. My poor little meow meow. Ahem. Anyways. I really love the visual of story memory/ghost Joey holding the lantern from BATDR as his role is kind of to provide guidance and hope : ) And the song also gave me this sort of feeling HOWEVER it literally is called “I’ll be drawing you” and mentions some things that were Joey’s wrongdoings, so I wanted to include his real stinky self too. Initially I was going for a lineless style kind of inspired by visuals of “Almost There” from Princess and the Frog,,, but as I added the lantern I started shading a bit and then a bit more and ended up with something that doesn’t look like the inspiration that much but I like it tbh : ]

And as I was going with the theme of DUALITY OF A MAN of course Of Course I had to include the good old “just a pencil and a dream” / “just a pen and a nightmare” and the Bendy and the Ink Demon drawn in pencil and pen respectivelly : ]
