So here's a quick little thing I made up for you guys during my 'dead' period right now.

Well many of you know by know that I consider the Country artist Lee Ann Womack as Pinky's voice. Not only in because of the sound of her voice, but also the personality and heart-felt nature of almost every song she's ever released. There's just something about Lee Ann that just SCREAMS Pinky. This song is no exception and this drawing is a complete recreation of the mental image it gave me. It's flat-shaded for the most part and done completely with the tablet.. though I did practice with the 'burn' tool a little.. but I'm not good at it yet. : /

I'd heard this song for the first time not long ago, there was just something about it that made me really like thinking it was Pinky saying it all. She just sounds so wise, supportive, and positive.. stuff that I could easily see why little Violet would look up to her for. <3 It's also interesting and saddening to wonder how her outlook on this subject might have changed towards the end of her life.

As for the location, I haven't really rubbed it in people's faces but I have said before that I'm basing the Brooks family home in Kansas. During Pinky's hay-day (1960-69) she and the family would often take vacations and day-trips on the weekends. I'd imagine this is just some highway-side 'western' themed rest-stop location in mid-Kansas she's parked at here. One of the biggest trips Pinky was ever taken on was a being driven down through Texas to the Gulf Of Mexico, the Brooks' wanting to visit the coast and Violet having never been to the ocean.

One thing that I really enjoy about having them based in Kansas is that it's where I live. XD So I don't need to go learn about the state to know what it looks like. I've included just about everything I know about Kansas country-side from experience. The giant round hay-bails, those oil-rig pumps in the far distance, broken fencing from long forgotten farms.. ect ect.

There's only one detail I changed from what I originally saw in my mind. Originally the brown car's owner was standing there leaning against the car's front looking at the map. I decided not the put the man in there because.... I'm lazy. >.> .. O.O but you can still see a map there on the car's hood, like the owner just walked off for a moment after looking at it. ^^

BTW: 10+ Internetz to anyone who figures out where I got the design of that brown car from. : 3

The design for the Brown car came from the Very End of the Worthless song, I believe it was the car at the very bottom of the pile right in front of Toaster, Lampy, Blankey, Radio and Kirby that said the ending lyrics "You're worthless....." before the crusher comes down and smashes another car, and it's tailpipe lands on them.

lol see you weren't careful and you came up with a new character. lol like what you did with me when I told you I thought the magnet (and still do) was a girl and you did a picture of it with eye liners and powder!

You know, after Pinky is taken to the dump in this comic, the next comic is gonna be super awesome. I was just thinking about ideas just today for it. But it's gonna be the eve of Pinky's death, the morning of the day the Characters in the movie get there.

But it's gonna be really cool because it's gonna show a lot of details about Ernie's Disposal's operations, particularly in the morning as that's when it's being set. We'll start with a guy climbing up a ladder on the side of the crusher and entering the engine-room and starting the crusher up. I thought it'd be kinda humorous to have it be some really old guy with huge thick glasses. XD Then it'd show how the loud banging and hum of the crusher starting, along wit the squeaking of the conveyer starting wakes up all the cars.. its like a morning bell. I thought during this we'd show the magnet who was also sleeping, just having it's 'self'/magnet laying slumped on top of some poor car on the ground. Then the magnet waking up looking pissed still and slowly raising back up to begin work again. We'd also see the fleet of garbage trucks leaving the front gate as well as the fateful one that the movie characters wind up in.

I both am interested in seeing it and dreading seeing that Pinky dies. I'm hoping you have some kind of "Air Conditioner" idea planned, some kind of twist or angle that'll make things happy, like those little steel cubes are sold to a steel mill or something where they're made into something new and those cars get a happily ever after in the form of a Phoenix rebirth (I.E. from the fire they are born anew) but I have a sinking feeling that that will not be the case. lol this whole deal has my heart trembling like a child walking through a haunted house! lol I can't wait to see what you do.

So are you going to say that the old man is Ernie or just an employee that Ernie has in the yard looking after things when he leaves and let's the magnet alone and neglected?

Ah, I love comments like these!! Ones that have people going beyond the picture or whats being discussed and really let me know what the fans are thinking or hoping for! It helps so much knowing that, and it's encouraging when it happens that I'm doing something they're hoping I will. As for what I have planned, I DO have something planned but for your own excitement I wont go into any more detail then that. I will say though that I'm planning on leaving the story with a 'canon' ending and then an extended and alternate ending that people can choose weather they want to include it happening in the story or not. You realize though, even if the cars ARE reborn like that, who they were, their memories, it's all gone.. wiped clean. So even if they're reborn again.. they're not the same person.. that person still died. It's kinda like the same question about cloning yourself. You'd live on sure, but even if you were able to copy all your memories and personality over.. YOU'D still die.. it'd still be another person. : /

Well, I'm sorta accounting for Ernie's Disposal being so deserted both for reasons of animation budget, and the facts that the characters needed to be alone to move around and be animate. Though I'm pretty sure any operation like that would need human workers around. It's already a strange enough, apparent fact, that the Magnet didn't have an crane-operator. Because if it did it wouldn't have gone after Rob. I'm assuming Ernie's is just so huge that the workers were off somewhere else during the movie, there's also that small building you can see inside the front gate in the movie.. I'm sure there were some workers stationed in there we never saw. They probably have bulldozer operators we never saw, which would move the cars and garbage steadily inwards towards the magnet so they could be crushed (ever think about the plot-hole? How the magnet was able to cover such a large span of the place? XD)

But in the spirit of the movie, I'm only going to imply that a very small staff is only stationed there at one time.. like maybe 4-5 guys. We already have the tow-truck driver which you'll be seeing in the comic. The old guy will be just another employee, assumed to have a heavy-machinery background. I'm keeping in the spirit of the movie and leaving Ernie as an unseen character, maybe the most you'll see is his foot.. if I have him appear in that mini Magnet comic.

Unless of course there's a transference of consciousness, since both bodies would be so identical (Or in the non-clone case everything that was the car is still there albeit in a much more compact form) that when the other expires the electrical energy that causes the mind of the person to be what they were latches onto the clone before it disperses. Clones are a tricky sort to figure out, no one is exactly the same on such a cellular and construction-wise level. It's very hard to assume how bodies would react if a redundant copy of itself not only exsisted but was close by. I'd assume that since their brain is constructed just the same as yours and the clones neurological energy fires the exact same way yours does (being a clone and all) you'd end up being pulled into some kind of hive mind, not that you'd be changed because your personality is still the one in the clone, but the harmony between the two brains would sort of cause a networked computer effect. Boosted processing power but a copy of the same operating software so to speak. I think I may have SLIGHTLY drifted off topic heh... I assume for a car that's all their just compacted together being in the steal would sort of be like being an infant all over again since all metal machinery starts out in a mill. I think it would be sort of a matter of choice if they decide to spread themselves out in the steal and leave behind what they were because they were miserable and try again at something else without the burdens of their previous memories of character flaws, or stay bunched together and hold onto themselves. Anything as sweet as you made Pinky could never simply disappear, in my mind goodness and a loving nature are something of a universal constant; they'll always continue on because in some way it attributes to universal balance. lol Regardless, I think you just love watching me freak the hell out in wonder and worry!

Ah, Well I guess to account for the whole Cars moving freely you could always say that the crane operator is so old or vision is so poor that he's completely oblivious to what's actually going on at the end of the crane. Like he's too stubborn to quit his job and no one particularly cares enough to call him on the fact he's too old to be manning such large equipment. He claims he can operate the crane by "feel" when actually it's just the crane doing it's thing and he misinterpenetrates its movement as some kind of acquired skill from working so long. Like EVERY piece of machinery is aware of his poor vision to the point that they don't feel threatened looking him right in the face. Could explain why so much went on (lol aside from the limited budget.)

Either way no matter what you do I'm sure I will love it (lol or go cry quietly in a corner over) because as of yet, with ANY of your works; be it some of our unfinished rps, your virus story, or anything else you have yet to disappoint (Except for those pictures of cars with..... not car parts on them that deeply disturb me lol). I also find it funny that you and I can be drawn into epic, and I mean EPIC conversations of ideals or philosophy over rather simple things. It's actually quite funny! One minute we're talking about an old cartoon movie we both fondly regard, then BAM bring in the clone discussion and ideas about what makes one's self one's self. It's some of the most intellectual content I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.

Well I'm thinking of it more in the Hindu idea of it..which is something I was just recently explained about and I found it really interesting. They believe, if you didn't know, that every creature has this kind of 'mini-god' under the 'main god'... kind of like a folder which all the souls of that particular type of creature are stored and passed through during reincarnation.. if you wanna look at it in a category kinda way. They believe that when you die you almost immediately are reborn again as a baby.. even more interestingly that baby WILL be born into your family.. even very distant relatives. They believe that all the people who are your friends and family in this life, people close to you, play a part with you in every life.. but the roles are different. Like say.. your butch-male friend in this life might be your baby sister in the next life (kinda creepy/silly to think about XD). But the point is, with the mini-gods thing, you're always going to reincarnated as the same type of creature. Like a person cant be a human in one life and then be reborn as a dog after that.. its always human human human or dog dog dog.. but you'll be a different person every time.

Yeah but the thing is man, the body WOULDN'T be "so similar" though. I mean there's gonna be time in-between when the car is crushed, smelted, and then rebuilt.. especially if said car has been sitting in the scrap yard for years. The factories are going to move on to make the next years model of car.. they're not gonna be making the car that it was anymore. But if you wanted to go by the Hindu idea I said.. then you could assume it's soul would be transferred to the same make/model..but it'd be a different year's model..... OH wait, you were talking about the human clone thing.. sorry I forgot I brought that up. XD Well I'll leave what I said up there anyway, you might find it interesting. That's an interesting idea you have there, if that theory were right, I could imagine scientists making a 'human super-computer/quantum computer' of sorts by making like 1000 clone brains of someone, connecting them all up in close proximity.. then having the original person in the room and 'electronically/spiritually' connected to all the other brains and gaining processing power.. damn... But I think the scene that always stuck in my mind about the 'clone not being you' part was what happened to the villain guy in the movie "The Sixth Day." You ever seen that? (OMG while looking on youtube someone uploaded the whole movie! I'm so gonna watch it, I haven't seen it in forever! XD) But here's the scene I meant [link]

So are you saying that you think the cars, well lets face it it's not just cars that get recycled, but still.. you're saying you think they can decide weather to just forget themselves and start over as a clean slate or to continue on with their memories?

If that's what you're saying, wouldn't you'd think humans would be able to do that too in that case? If so then people would know everything about death because they'd remember it. O_o I know that in Hindu, again for example, you start out as a clean slate memory-wise. But all the emotional wisdom they'd acquired during their past live (if they learned to be a good person that is) would carry over and they'd be a nice person in their next life.. kinda like.. subconsciously I guess. They could also be able to remember SOME memories from their past life, I'm sure you've seen hypnosis 'bring up' memories from past lives.. so it's like.. it's there.. but it's really deep and subconscious where we can't access it regularly. But I think maybe that was even what you were talking about, by goodness being a universal constant.. if you're a good person it transcends lives. In Hindu there are certain things you should strive to do in your life that'll evolve your soul indefinitely and your soul will keep getting wiser with every life. Have you heard of the term "old soul?" It's a soul that's lived a lot of lives and is thus very wise. Apparently from talking to people you can kind of pick up if someone's an old soul.. but I'm not sure if that's legit.. you just kinda like.. can tell by how wise someone seems to be.. like if a child is wise beyond their years or something.

HAHA! That idea is actually pretty funny for the crane operator. The only thing is, in a comic, I'm not really sure how I'd convay that you know? Plus you can't count on everyone reading the Artist Description. It does kinda fit into the theme I have of Ernie's Disposal not following business safety laws and such. Later on in the comic when we see Ernie's post-movie.. we're gonna see that Ernie's Disposal has come over OSHA Review XD apparently Rob having called in to complain about almost being killed there. OSHA is gonna have been there, enforcing a bunch of safety rules, putting yellow signs up everywhere with safety warnings and new rules such as "Scrap piles cannot exceed 20 feet" or "Hard hats are required at ALL times." XD Stuff like that... Heck.. that crusher is rather unsafe itself don't you think? Maybe if it'd make people happy to see it get some pay-back I could have the crusher being replaced by a newer safer model.. maybe a shredder or something. XDDD But I kinda liked the idea of Ernie getting some heat under his ass on it for his poor safety measures.

Thank you very much man, it means a lot that you think I have a good track record. <: ] Its ok if my car penis/vagina pics freak you out, they're kinda supposed to. XD I love making people see things they never though nor wanted to see.

I LOVE our epic conversations, don't ever stop man!

TheApprentice225 In reply to Half-dude [2012-05-17 16:07:48 +0000 UTC]

Kind of interesting concept since I share quite a few traits with a man I never met (deceased, my great grandfather) and even without thinking about it guessed his birthday when I was making things up for a story. I also own his handkerchief which I named Oliver. lol don't ask.

Oh of course, she'd probably end up as a different type of car and her memory wouldn't be completely there I don't think, but I think if there was a part like that (lol your next Comic; Pink 2: The Rebirth of Pinky! THAT is epic) that she'd retain her good personality, know she loved that girl, and maybe even recall events in dreams to a degree.

As for the human clone bit could you imagine a bunch of human clones in some military bunker all networked together in some kind of Black Ops project? lol That's make for a cool story. Using mental powers to ID stuff or search for something, or even co-ordinate attacks.

lol and I think I've seen every Arnold movie even made. When I was a kid it was my firm belief that there was NOTHING more bad ass than Arnold. The chart literally stopped with him and no one could be cooler than that.

Yeah, like to me that blue one ( "I must confess one more dusty road, would be just a road too long") sounded so miserable that he probably wouldn't want to remember any of it. He'd want to start over as someone new who could be happy and not be forced to recall all the crappy aspects of his former life. I'd assume the process of retaining one's self would be hard that someone would have to commit to and demonstrate a high degree of inner strength. That being said I think Pinky could. Just wake up fresh and new being brought down the assembly line and wondering if it was all just a dream or if she had some how transcended death. Being an old car in a new car body I think she'd be amazed at some of her new gadgets like her "Air Conditioner" or "Automatic windows". Course she could never go around saying that "I'm actually an old car in a new body, I beat death!" because it'd be I guess a hard fact to come to terms with AND other people would think she was crazy.

lol of course being the sucker for happy endings I am I'd like to see fate smile on her and either have her pass her former owner on the road OR wind up in her possession again a good time later when she's either going steady with a guy or into a relationship and pregnant offering Pinky the second chance at happiness since that's all she really wanted, to be with her loving family and be with them her whole life. I think when you really want something as good and pure as something born from love it will happen.

Well, again to your point I think that people go to heaven and that's where the line stops unless they're unhappy being dead and found enjoyment in the strives of life. In which case I think they'd be reincarnated but the details of what happened before would be all but forgotten and in such a bad condition that they'd be but to the back of your mind, like when you have a dream but you can't remember it. It doesn't seem very important so you push it aside. You have more important things to remember so you choose not to try to remember because there's no reminder on the fridge "Go to the store, pick up milk, remember that you were a dead guy" so it's something you wouldn't know to sit down and think about.

lol either through dialog or some of the rowdier cars pushing their luck taunting him by moving and making faces at him and him being completely unaware.

On the OSHA note though I think Ernie could always make things legal and say that Rob broke into the scrap yard. We never saw anyone greet them in or even talk to them. Rob just drove on in. In all honesty I think Rob would just be happy to have escaped with his life and be done with it. I can think of no greater hell than for the Magnet to see what incredible feats of love some owners go through for their appliances and be forced to realize that she could never, NEVER get even the smallest fraction of that affection from Ernie (Who you could always say had started out in life trying to be something else but failed miserably so he just inherited the scrape yard and takes his scorn out on her for his failure.) But then again, having the big heart I do I don't think even she deserves to suffer that much. Maybe, just maybe after realizing how little Ernie cares about her and seeing that Rob nearly died just to save his appliances and feeling even more bitter and woeful through an action or statement she then realizes that the operator shows her affection to a degree, maybe muttering to himself about enjoying his job or her in particular and that's why he's been working for as long as he had. I'm a terrible softy when it all comes down to it.

lol so then the mental scarring is all planned?

I never will, as long as I have a spark of crazy, imagination, Soda, and ass loads of free time I'll keep up the conversations lol ^^ I think we are different enough to have conflicting opinions but similar enough to be able to wrap our heads around the others ideas and that's why we can have such awesome conversations.

Half-dude In reply to TheApprentice225 [2012-05-20 13:03:52 +0000 UTC]

Very interesting, with all due respect, were you born after your grandfather had passed away? That would be something to wrap your head around, that maybe you're your own grandfather.. but like you said, you seem to be a lot like him and know some things he know. That's really interesting to me. o.o

Oh god, Pinky 2: The Rebirth? A spin-off comic with more Pinky? But no, after Pinky's story is done I'd actually really like to get to work on the smaller comic showing how Georgia and Bobby Lee met and started their adventures. I've already got it all in my head, just gotta draw it out. ^^ As for Andy and Anton's story.. I have that thought out too but that'll be told in individual pictures.

While I can't tell you what I have planned for Pinky, I know you'll like the ending I have planned.

Yeah it'd be an organic super computer. On the show 'Inside the Wormhole' they talked about that scientists are starting to think our brains work like quantum computers, ie: operating on quantum mechanics. So if they did do something like that it would indeed be a quantum computer. Sounds like a crazy experiment the Nazis would do.. I just got done playing through Wolfenstein again. XDD

I love Arnold, he's awesome, though I think Duke Nukem is my favorite badass. Since he's partly inspired by Arnold then I'm pretty much agreeing with you. XD

Aw, that poor Blue Coupe, yeah he and Ol' Green were definitely the most miserable of the cars in the song.. you could just tell. Ol' Green I think is the more of the two, he seems to suffer from heart-ache while Blue seems to maybe be speaking more like an Elderly person and is just old, worn out, tired, and ready to die. I've actually GOT a story planned out for Ol' Green, it's pretty heartbreaking and I could share it with you if you'd like because I don't know if I'll ever get around to it or not. XD I'd actually thought about Blue's life a little, maybe he lived out in the country where they have lots of dirt roads? Maybe he had a neglectful owner who never changed his air-filter, or heck maybe even changed oil at home and hardly ever changed the oil filter. Maybe Blue's engine finally failed of Combustion Chamber degradation, dirty oil cutting up his innards, dirt-filled air and/or lack of air from his clogged filter feeding into his combustion chambers and wearing them down. Maybe that's why he's so sick of dusty roads...

Back back to what you were talking about, you're suggesting that keeping ones memories would depend on the person's willpower? That someone miserable and tired wouldn't hardly have any, but a content person might? I'm still a bit dodgy on the idea of them keeping their memories past death though.. but I guess the whole 'feeling like maybe you just went to sleep and OMG new body!' might be enough to make it work. Because then they themselves wouldn't actually know they'd transcended death.. it'd just be the only conclusion they could think of.. Well I'd like to think Pinky would still be a Ford Fairlane.. or at least a Ford.. but just be a newer model. I somehow like the order of having the cars stay within their 'Make.' Again, being vague here, but if Pinky can manage to die with the knowledge that Violet has been positively influenced by her being there with er.. then Pinky will be happy. I'm sure you didn't listen to the song I supplied long ago which is pretty much the theme of Pinky's story. /: ) But it goes "-But if I will love and I will find, that I have touched another life and that's somethin' something worth leaving behind."

While we're talking about what you'd LIKE to see. Would there be anything between the Camaro and Pinky you'd like to see happen? Or probably more particularly.. something happen to the Camaro?

Do you really think any of the cars would, for one be in the mental state to wanna play around with the big deadly magnet? XD Even if it was the operator they're teasing, I'd think the cars would be more focused on the big angry magnet wanting them dead even if they WEREN'T mocking her.

Yeah I'm sure Ernie could claim that, sure. But it's not Rob he has to worry about, it's OSHA regulations. Sure the case Rob brought against Ernie's was probably quickly settled, I really don't see Rob even making a big deal about it..he seems pretty laid back. But I'd think just by having a complaint filed some agency.. maybe not even OSHA would be called in to just do a routine inspection of the place. I'm not saying Rob's incident would be the thing that'd cause OSHA to come in and change stuff.. I'm saying Ernie's Disposal's lack of safety would be it. XD I think any sane person walking into Ernie's with a mission in mind for 'a safe workplace for employees' like OSHA would want to 'fix' things there. I mean just look at the place, poor security, lack of signage and cautionary warnings. I'd also think they'd want to implement a 'buddy system' for all employees wandering the grounds. With how huge and deserted that place is, imagine if a car slid out of the pile and pinned your leg? You'd be screwed unless someone managed to find you. Or what about the Crusher, all that debris being flung out of it? Some of that stuff would probably act like shrapnel man.. take the top of your head off.. or crush you under a flying tire or something. XD If anything I think they'd replace the crusher with something safer and order SOME kind of standard for the car piles. I mean, my god, some of those piles look like they're 50 feet tall, and they're mostly made entirely of cars! Could you imagine if one of those collapsed? Even if you were inside a bulldozer you'd be crushed to hell! Look at the car piles in the background when the Limo is being picked up for example, look how tall those piles get!! [link] haha

Though I dunno, maybe realistically junkyards can get away with being dangerous to work at? But I just kinda liked the idea of seeing how Ernie's has changed since the movie.. to have some evolution. I mean the next time we see it after Pinky's death is like the mid 90s..

Your description is correct though, I think that's part of the reason she didn't care about killing him, she was just enraged seeing his love for those appliances.. on top of those appliances being the same ones that had been making her look bad at HER job and thus look bad to Ernie.. insult to injury. If it changes your mind at all, I wasn't planning on having he OSHA inspection do anything to her, at most it'd effect the crusher. : / I like how you think Ernie inherited the junkyard. Brings me back to an idea I had a while back which another plan convinced me not to go through with, which was showing Andy when he was dumped after crashing in the Indy 500 back in the 30s. We'd see him taken to the early version of Ernie's Disposal back when.. I dunno.. the Ernie of the movie's great grandfather owned it? I'd be really small and humble.. a sign out front (knowing the 30s probably making it sound sophisticated like "~ Ernie's Automated-Mobile Recycling ~") and a medium sized lot with neat rows of old scrapped model-Ts. It'd even have the ancestor of Ms. Magnet there, being something like this: [link]

Wow, you're such a softy, you just want everyone to have a happy ending hmm? ^^ Well that's admirable, but that really isn't how it works in the movie is it? No, this is RL.. where it sucks.
Of course it's planned!

God man, it's these long discussions like these that encourages me to finish my big comic. Oh I can only dream of the emotional discussions we'll have throughout the epic 3 part comic. ^^ le siiiiigghhhh.... Don't ever leave man, I NEED commenters like you. haha

No, it was on my mother's 26th birthday that he passed.

lol I was only kidding. I just thought the title sounded funny.

Of that I have no doubt.

Indeed. I find it funny that you and I came up with that in a matter of minutes and it probably took them years of research and billions of dollars to come up with the idea.

lol cool.

I do feel Bad for Green. He JUMPED on his own will power into the crusher. The Magnet just went up behind him and said "Go." and that was all the push he needed.

Indeed, and I doubt they'd remember the whole experience crystal clear. But I did listen to a good deal of the song before I opted out.

Ideally? Well I'd like to see that smart allelic forced to take some of the punishment he dished out on poor Pinky. I don't want to see him destroyed or dead, just taken down a peg and forced to realize what he had done to Pinky was wrong and down right cruel. Like either an accident that smashed his front end up a bit and rendered his engine inoperable or his Engine giving out after years of showing off and putting his guts on the table just to look good and show off. I'm sure Violet would know that she doesn't know enough about cars to try to fix him and would call a local garage or something to enact repairs. While there I assume he would try to act tough and insult everything else before they could him since all bullies go on the attack because they're uncomfortable enough with themselves that they think someone else will go after them first. And after awhile I think the other vehicles in the garage would get wise to him and start making fun of him for acting so tough but having a defective engine component (I can hear him right now yelling at the other cars to "STOP LAUGHING AT ME!!" eventually going from acting tough to showing just how meek he really is without the roar of his engine to hide behind.) If anything I'd like to have the reborn Pinky at some point shortly after the Camaro's repairs being bought by Violet since it was hard not having a car and she by chance found her and remembered how good of a car Pinky was. She'd be taken around back, after some banter the Camaro would realize who it was, make an off comment about her teasing him back, and Pinky telling him that she'd never be that down right cruel to kick someone when they were down. After a while I think they'd have some respect for one another, maybe even the Camaro filling in Pinky on what she missed while she was gone (Neither would understand how she returned and got herself fixed up.)

The braver ones I think. The ones who realize that there number is up but they don't want to go quietly into the night. I doubt they'd have the guts to taunt the Magnet herself because she'd smack the hell out of them, but the operator is close enough too her to hit home without the risk of being smashed.

Agreed, Though I wonder what the safety standards back then were. lol in like the 20s and 30s I'd probably be just a small note in the Break room reading.....
"Alright you Chowder Head listen,
You see that big crusher in the back of the yard? Yeah? Well don't go sticking parts of yourselves in it and you'll be just fine.
Management"

All the junk yard's I've ever seen were usually in similar condition. And as a kid I've seen A LOT of junk yards.

Indeed, but above all THAT magnet would be happy because the people there would enjoy their jobs. I think there should be a long line of happy Magnets and that the one in the movie is aware of that, maybe even tasted some of that love before Ernie took over.

lol it sucks until people like me make it less so. I go out of my way to make people happy.

lol indeed.

lol so you're powered by my hot air eh? lol I think you may have tapped into a limitless power source then lol! Could you imagine how a conversation between us in real life would go?

I'm sorry to hear that <: and again, I'm not trying to make light of his passing. *hug*

Oh you were? But you're not saying you wouldn't embrace a spin-off series though are you? No I'm not saying I'm making one by asking that either. XD

: )..

Well I have no doubts lots of great ideas have been thought up, and honestly the amount of time doesn't really matter because what stops it is scientific morality. If we wanted to do an experiment like that it'd either have to be in Andrew Ryan's Rapture, or say.. a Nazi death camp probably. : /

I actually like the look on the magnet's face when Ol' Green jumps on, I think I talked about this to you before. She kinda just raises her brows in a 'wow...eh.. didn't see that coming' kinda way. Really makes it feel more satisfying that his 'fuck you' didn't go unnoticed. Because you KNOW she was just SO wanting to slam on top of him! ..Awww you don't wanna hear the idea I had for his back story
Oh so you did listen to the song, humph.. and you still DID opt out? Man I just don't understand. I mean I can understand Country not being your regular genre, but I didn't think people could just NOT stand to even hear it. I mean I could understand if it was really twangy twang "oh my dog went and died today" country..but this is borderline modern pop! Granted I'm not just talking to you hear, most people can't stand my music it seems. : | I just don't understand the hate I guess.. I mean it's got heart.. I don't see any negative aspect of it. Say, if I liked foul-mouth screamer music.. I could understand if people didn't want to hear that because it either made them feel uncomfortable or was inappropriate to them. But this is heart-felt stuff here.. it's like.. how could you NOT like it? The same as to saying "Pinky is a really nice girl full of heart, how could you NOT like her?" .... heh.. just curious is all..

Hmm.. well my future for him is already set, though I think you'll be happy with what I've chosen. I'm the same as you, I don't feel like just regular bullies deserve something as harsh as death. This is especially true as some bullies are merely victims themselves who've just grown to dealing with it in a bad way. Having them feel their own medicine or at least realize they were wrong leaves them open to redeem and better themselves later. ^_^

So you're actually suggesting that the Operator would be hearing the cars himself? Would he think he was crazy or something? Hearing voices? XD You know, if you look at the opening scene at Ernie's Disposal, the crane doesn't even have a cab or anywhere for a guy to sit. As far fetched as it is even by TODAY'S standards.. I'm leaning on saying the crane is self-operated.. o_O

Yeah I should visit the OSHA website and see what their rules are concerning jobs like a junkyard. :/

I hope life rewards you for those actions. : o

I'm powered by comments yes, see how things die out when they lack comments? My computer cartoon for example -.- shame really since I really liked that idea. I honestly think an IRL conversation would blow.. really. I'm pretty shy IRL and I don't like talking about things I'm obsessed over face to face with people. I think it's with me being self-aware that I'm mild-autistic and prone to obsessing over meaningless stuff.. I don't like sounding obsessed. But lucky online I don't care what people think of me as much. : / Its even worse being BLT.. because it's animated and I can't get the false idea out of my head that being obsessed over a cartoon makes me immature for my age because they're for kids. Yeah my IRL self kinda sucks big-time.. it's probably why I'll never get anywhere with my ideas or art -.- because I'm too afraid to express them.

That's okay ^^ I never got to meet him personally. He passed long before my time.

lol I'd be cool with a sequel.

Indeed, I'm just saying that we can come up with these ideas just talking where so called "Men of Science" demand large sums of money before they think of things. The more I think about it the more it seems they act like coming up with ideas is a big deal and they need lots of cash to do it when in all actuality all you need is a couch, maybe some cheetos, and someone to bounce ideas off of.

lol his song was tragic enough!

It's not that I hate country and I think the fact it is so close to pop is maybe an attributing factor. I loved the heart warming message in it I just didn't like the sound of the instruments to it. It just didn't have the feel I did. Though granted I am from Pennsylvania originally so I am a fair deal "Country-ed out". Like for instant that song in your video with Lilly I didn't mind. I just am not very big in poppy music or Country. lol If you'd care to hear any of my preferences I could send you a few links to a few good songs I very much enjoy.

Indeed ^^

No, I was saying he's got such greatly poor senses he doesn't even remotely notice them and since he operates the crate to the car's he's the safest "part" of her to vent their bad feelings on.

Yeah, if you can find older safety books and regulations I think that may help.

lol Diminished sadness in others is my reward.

lol Listen Half-Dude, I'm just a trifle out of my mind, suffer from OCD, I have a slight stutter at times, my friends and family say if you tied my hands together I wouldn't be able to say a word, and very I'm very energetic. I have a history of rubbing off on people with my good nature and my energy is a bit contagious. It may start out a little awkward at first but eventually we'd start having fun and it'd be great. Of this I am sure. And about being immature a VERY wise man once said, "What's the point of growing up if you can't act childish sometimes?" There's nothing wrong with enjoying cartoons to a very high degree, just look at the Trekkies and other people of that sort. All that sounds like to me is you need some confidence in yourself my friend. But as cool, personable, and talented as you are one of these days I'm sure you'll be able to see just how many good things you have going for you and how many people (and/or a certain car) you have supporting you and you'll go far in life.

Oh.. ok so wait, then you meant to say yes then right? O_o He passed away before you were born...

Well you ain't GETTIN' it! /: D

Well that's because "Men of Science" get paid to think of things... XD so why would they do it for free? Or more likely, they've already thought of these things.. but they ain't telling YOU till you pay them. XDD

Yes it was.. :' (

Pop seems to be another one of those genres that are pretty hit and miss with people, guess I kinda walked into that by making that comparison. XD Well ok, here's my side of it, I've had some people send me their music and it'll be like metal sounding emo music at it's saddest or just metal in general. I just can't get any kind of heart-felt emotion from metal! No matter how sad the lyrics are, the only thing I can get out of metal is a head-bob to the beat of the instruments. You even said yourself how important the instrumental is. If I'm trying to really get you to feel things I want something with emotional instruments.. guitar, piano, slide-guitar, violin, ect ect. But yeah I'd be interested in hearing your type of music. BTW.. you being in Pennsylvania is no excuse, I live in Kansas bro. XD Oh, Lilly's song? You mean "Cowboy Take Me Away?"

I hate having cookie-cutter characters, you seem like a deep individual. As a fan, is there anything you'd like to see me draw with the Camaro to maybe make his character more interesting before the end of the series? <: )

: / hmmmm.. well surely SHE's gotta realize that even if they're mocking the operator they mean to mock her.. so wouldn't it just be AS dangerous? Haha you know I was playing DNF the other night and I got to the part where you fight the Octoking, I laughed when I realized how much the crane operator there reminds me of the crane guy you're describing at Ernie's. [link]

You think their rules have changed that much since the 90s?

You're a true Altruist.. wait.. so that means you're Sophia Lamb, which means I want to punch you in the face. -.O

Well thanks man, I have to admit I was expecting I'd probably get some uplifting words from you. <: ] I hope so.. I think I really need to get out of my mom's place.. I'm way to sheltered here.. we'll see how I do when I get back to my hometown in July. Hope to meet up with you someday.

Yes.

lol Oh I think you may change your tune when the ninjas show up.

lol brainy extortion.

I think that might be new metal, I do listen to metal some times but only the GOOD OLD stuff like Judas Priest. Back when people had talent. lol and here are some links for you, I warn you there are going to be genres all over the place with these. My taste in music is as crazy as I am. [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] lol I'm sure this'll be the first time you ever heard Benny Goodman stack up with the bee gees. And yeah I think that's the one.

Maybe he had a superficial owner before hand who's cruel and shallow personality rubbed off on him since they are both young and a bit arrogant.

lol yeah, that guy does sort of put me in mind of him. lol I love the bit at the end where he says he should've killed the thing himself. That is one badass old guy.

since the 80s probably. People have gotten progressively more whiny and annoying over the years.

lol a what?

I think that'd do some good for you. lol and you're deserving of every kind word.
