The fandom is still choke full of beautiful Belarus and Russia fanarts, but the reality is that the two countries' relationship is at its lowest point so far. Kremlin is tired of and annoyed at the Belarus dictator Lukashenko and the feeling is mutual. Not only is Belarus offering refuge for the ousted Kyrgyzstan dictator Bakiyev (whom Russia helped to overthrow), but recently Russia also cut off Belarus' oil and gas supply (until Belarus paid its debts).I don't think Natalia would continue bothering Ivan to marry her anymore now and he can finally take a break after all the running and hiding he's been doing in the fandom!

Thank you for drawing this! It's very true the two countries are not getting along. Belarus just had their elections and after seeming to reconcile with Russia, they are now back to fighting over oil prices. Belarus's oil supplies will be gone by the end of the month.
